Belarius has a ruffle of messy brunette hair that he keeps in a semi-long crew-cut. The sides are short enough to be reminiscent of his military and policing past but the top and bangs are long enough to gel in a swipe pattern away from his cowlick, while the rest of his flow is left falling messily in its place. His face has a surprising vitality for his thirty-two years, giving a charming, boyish softness to his mature features. His sharp blueish-green eyes sit above an aquiline nose with its a prominent bridge giving it the appearance of being slightly curved - often leading to comments that it's curved like the beak of an eagle. Belarius' shoulders are broad with a broad chest that drops to a more slender waist. His body is conditioned and fit, showing the signs of his physical training. He carries himself casually, with an air of confidence that others have described as a swagger in his step.
On the top of his right wrist, he has a light coloured scar, roughly two inches in length. On the inside of his left thigh there is an eight inch scar that runs past the knee joint. And he had black inked family emblem of a dragon with tribal patterns on its wing; located on the back of his right calf
Since the fall of the Empire at Jakku, there has been many calling for a return to the Imperial Age. The Pwyll Family, as well as many other noble families on Arkanis, has been a prominent leader in the Centrist faction of the Galactic Senate and Belarius is no expectation. Desiring a strong centralist government with an executive leader, the Pwylls pride themselves on desiring a universe with strong values of law and order; often idolizing the Imperial Age and military. However, this political ideology can often clash with those supportive of the Populist movement or those that look upon the Empire negativity; not to mention, many falsely assume Belarius desires a force-user to return to the throne.
There are some events that stick with a person throughout their life, forever molding that person from that day forth. For Belarius Pwyll, this would be the tragic event surrounding his youngest brother's death. Sending Belarius on a path to the Brotherhood and a career of risking his life that requires a deep sense of calm and bravery in the face of terrible adversity. Many of those who surround the man have commented on the man's inability to display fear and how he would laugh about "the next great adventure" while others feared death. Little have they known, while Belarius is certainly capable of fear; nothing rivals the thought that he had actually been the cause of his brother's death.
Despite his line of work, Belarius Pwyll still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Belarius Pwyll only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.
Belarius Pwyll is not afraid to exploit any advantage or position of power he has when dealing with others, and relies on a combination of fear, intimidation, manipulation and shows of strength to convince others to compromise and lose. Belarius Pwyll can be quite callous in his dealings with others, and never gives up his power. This has earned Belarius Pwyll with the reputation of a “bully” and can often make negotiations difficult before they even begin.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Belarius Pwyll? Belarius Pwyll doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Belarius Pwyll, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Belarius Pwyll isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Belarius Pwyll won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Belarius Pwyll will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
From what feels like a lifetime spent with the Inquisitorius, the conflict and grit experienced there has given Belarius Pwyll a unique outlook on the conflicts of the galaxy. Where others see only the seriousness of the fight in front of them, Belarius will often interject his grim and ironic humour at the most bathos of moments. To those familiar with the man, this outlook on life can actually provide a sense of calm or inspiration amongst comrade at arms in the thick of battle. However, those that aren't familiar with Belarius will often be off-put by the grinning man and find Belarius to be an eerie or even creepy presence on the frontlines.
