To those unfamiliar with the Nautolan species, Raiju Kang must appear as a half-bred between a man and a squid. Standing just slightly shy of six feet, the amphibious humanoid has typical Nautolan features such as the large black fish-like eyes dominating his face. However, this appears to clash with a sharp pointed nose directly below them and a strong jawline exhibiting his humanoid features. Mottled green colours the Nautolan's smooth, rubbery skin and instead of sporting hair upon his crown like most humanoids, flowing off the back of his head Raiju has ten remaining of his original fourteen head-tresses - each decorated with simple copper rings and hang down his back freely moving about with his own movement.

Distinguishing Marks: Black like charcoal, Raiju's left hand from his finger tips to an inch above his wrist has completely been left discoloured. Received from one of Tarentum's Keepers during their assault on Castle Tarentum. While the feature does not impair the Nautolan's abilities thanks to Dark Jedi Master Zero's efforts, the appearance could not be corrected.
Whatever will get the job done is usually the first thing that Raiju Kang will grab. While it may be weapons he came armed with, or the makeshift dagger from the broken glass of a beer bottle; he can't say he is picky. However, the Nautolan will come to any situation armed with his lightsaber and a SSK-7 Heavy Blaster Pistol. For almost a decade now, Raiju's lightsaber has served him since his time in Satal Keto under the name of his Sith personae "The Warhunter" as well as journeying with the Nautolan on his path to the light side on New Tython and back once again to the dark side. While the hilt has remained the same, upon returning to Tarentum, Raiju had to cast away the old lightsaber crystal and now has an orange crystal installed.
In flight, serving as a loyal member of the Stingray squadron of House Tarentum's fleet; Raiju's preference for a good dogfight will always rest in the cockpit of a TIE-Defender.
It is hard to sell spice and deal with criminals without partaking in a little of it yourself, or at least this is what Raiju Kang discovered on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Drinking, gambling, paying for sex and the frequent narcotics were all a heavy part of the Nautolan's teen and young adult years, but stopped being an occupational hazard and became habit after joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. These actions have lead directly to his various debts around the organization, which have a tendency to often be called in for "favours" if the collectors are in a particularly good mood. Yet, with the spice trade being disrupted by the Yuuzhan Vong invasion Raiju finds himself struggling daily; does he face his addiction or can a new substance fill the void.
Raiju Kang is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, Raiju Kang is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, Raiju Kang knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
Raiju Kang is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Raiju Kang will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Raiju Kang in a bit of trouble.
The reputation of Raiju Kang has been known to precede him. Often tales of unbelievable acts have spread across Dark Brotherhood space, which may have a grain of truth to them as he is uncharacteristically lucky; but more likely have been embellished by Raiju's own tongue. Whether it is from a daring, or lucky escape or a cunning gamble of words; the legend of Raiju's actions is just as strong as the knowledge of his selfish nature, his dishonesty, and his mercurial madness.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Raiju Kang? Raiju Kang doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Raiju Kang, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Raiju Kang isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Raiju Kang won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Raiju Kang will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
There is an old saying regarding fooling someone twice, Raiju Kang frankly has had enough experience being fooled by the Sith. While it may have something to do with being tortured and brought back to the Dark Side by a group of Sith, or the Sith who raped his master, or all the times he has been used in a Sith's plots; the source of his distrust doesn't matter any more, paranoia has taken course and the Nautolan is always on guard against Sith tricks. However, as well as refusing to trust the Sith, Raiju is outright hostile to most given his hatred and has even taken up the Order as his own in an effort to better understand his enemy - though what kind of Sith would just stop at knowledge when power can be had too?
