Medal Request: Steel Cross<br> Raven (4183)<br> <br> Raven has proven himself to be more than a valuable resource to the Dark Brotherhood's graphics program; ultimately, he has proven himself a capable role model worthy of recognition. Since assuming the mantle of Magistrate, then Praetor, of the Herald... this member has been using his free time to help improve Clan Scholae Palatinae.<br> <br> First, to prove his skill, he created me a custom saber (and a dual saber for later). This alone is a tremendous feat for the then Guardian, but he did not stop there. I provided an image to the young Journeyman and he quickly found a way to scan, clean up and color the image for the means of a CSP Development known as the "Dark Paladin" producing three separate images. <br> <br> With five pieces of premium art, I decided that this was the man to help me produce images for the Scholae Palatinae Merit system. This project required true skill and understanding, as it required him to interpret written descriptions of countless items and bring them to life. And, upon completion of the project, he took my breath away with the final product. Creating detailed images of amulets, rings, bracers, swords, shields, armor and so much more that gave the Merit system a life, and detail, of its own.<br> <br> He volunteered for these tasks with no hopes, or reward, in mind. Only hoping to improve the overall atmosphere of the Brotherhood by helping a single Clan strike out on a new idea. Raven has done a great job for the GJW and aided his Clan greatly. Over the duration of the GJW he has competed in 39 matches for the JA/JO/JK Ladder and participated in 4 poetry/gfx events. Raven participated in 8 events of the Ninth Great Jedi War: Unification. Raven came forward and assisted his Clan in its time of need by participating in over 140 gaming matches. For his amazing effort and skill in the Ninth Great Jedi War, Clan Naga Sadow is pleased to award Raven a Steel Cross.

Raven has done a fantastic job over the last several months as the battle team leader of the Night Hawks. He has also participated in several events in the Children of War Feud and placing in one of them. During this time he was also performing work for the Herald office, while also trying to keep up with stuff in real life. Following discussion amongst the Sadow Conclave of September 2009, we have decided to award this Steel Cross to Raven for his ability to balance several responsibilities at once; he has been doing a great job as the Battleteam Leader of the Night Hawks while also being a part of the Herald's Staff. In addition to this, Raven has found time to just enjoy the Brotherhood; he took part in the recent Clan Feud and brought home some points for House Marka Ragnos, and did a great job of encouraging his Battleteam to participate.
