Merlance from the first time I meet you, I was really impressed, with your skills in gaming, as I came into the house of tridens, you welcomed me fully, and placed me on the battle team Yu. Over the last few weeks I have watched you game some, train others in XWA, and have also been the recipent of that help as well, Your gaming in the XWA and XvT Bracket tourney is just super, you have made it into the last round against a really good pilot, I have full faith in you and will be glad to see you come out on top, Your help with the Rollmaster after your master left the house was indeed a good asset to me and the clan, I do also recall a time you have helped with some ideas for the gaming comps as well, and I have seen you enter in a outlandish amount of house comps, even the poetry ones, I have been a bit hard on you at times, and even critical of you, but in the end your friendship is the best, Im grateful to have you in this house. Your work is well thought out, and your activity on IRC is well appreciated as well, you have also had a few posts in the MB, and I see no reason you dont deserve this medal. For taking ones time to participate in more then one event for Clan Tarentum during the first half of this war MERLANCE is more then deserving of this small measure of the Summit's appreciation. For the past year, Merlance has continued to show his merit and worth as a member of Tarentum by serving as not only an excellent role model to our young members on how a Tarenti should behave and act but as an example to the elder members of the clan as well by showing that age and rank within the DB does not excuse you from the regular duties as a member. While other members of his rank are tied up with a project here or there as a way to continue to improve their standing in the clan and brotherhood, Merlance goes back to the basics by completing 15 SA courses, earning two PoBs and 212 CFs since last may and participating in numerous competitions both large (like GJWs, RoSs, Clan History month) and small (like the recent clan competition settling home). Aside from this, Merlance also proves he can work like the big dogs by providing sound and interesting opinions on the house, coaching new members as he has proven in getting his apprentice to JH already and providing the clan with monthly trivia since last June. For all this, and everything missed, I would like to recommend Merlance for a AC as a thank you and reminder that Tarentum appreciates everything he does for his house and clan.
