If you look at the last few months of activity, Pel has earned a couple hundred Cluster of Fire for playing Uprising, the odd Cluster of Ice for writing, some Clusters of Earth, and a handful or so of Crescents for activity in various events. If this were all, you could say Pel is steadily active. Pel is also a stalwart member of Tarentum's communication over Telegram, and has been working to take several of our members under his wing to mentor them in unit leadership. He has helped take Ranarr to Knighthood, and is still working on others. He is involved in the creation of Tarentum work daily that we are pushing hard to get out; like the rest of us, Pel wants to contribute to have a year-long, cohesive work of fiction to guide our activities and events, and Pel gives daily to our leadership chats and work to create. In the coming month, it will be entirely obvious that Pel's hand remains a constant in Tarentum.
As Pel's activity suggests, he is regularly involved in Brotherhood-wide competitions, and is a source of strength and stability for Tarentum in mentoring others, and pressing the rest of us to be active. We are eternally grateful for Pel's return so many months ago, and for his regular work to help make Tarentum active, and the best Clan the Brotherhood will be able to offer. Thanks for all you do, Pel. You're one in a million.

Pel has become one of the most vocal and omnipresent members of Tarentum. He's always on Telegram contributing to discussions about everything from Star Wars to planning Tarentum's next move. He's participating in competitions and actively mentoring our younger members and leaders alike. It's great to have such an experienced member come out of the shadows and take an active role in the Clan. I am proud to recommend a token of appreciation for the hard work Pel has put into the Clan lately.

Since I can came back to Tarentum after a long absence. There has been one name that constantly sticks out for me and that's Pel.
Pel has become a great ally to myself and to Clan Tarentum. I have had the great pleasure of working with him with various House Mortis dealings, as well as Order of the Trident business. He has shown great leadership looking after the battle team while we searched for a new battle team leader. He has attended house meetings and has provided valuable feedback for how things are going in the house.
Pel is more than deserving of this award.
Thanks for everything you do Pel!

There is one thing that is constant in Tarentum whether it's spoken or not, and that is we treat each other like family. Pel has really been there for all the Clan's members since returning. He has been a leader both in position as well as his attitude. He is always around to offer suggestions or advice on just about any topic with the knowledge and experience to back up his answers. As my Battle Team Sergeant, he has provided a very knowledgeable and priceless sounding board for any and all issues and ideas concerning our Battle Team. Day in and day out his presence is felt throughout Tarentum on IRC, Email or especially Telegram. He is the back bone of our Battle Team and one of the most important and respect members of the Clan as a whole. I believe he is deserving of nothing less.

Pel is awesome! I'd wish all returning old Tarenti were like him. In the short period since his last Merit award, Pel has participated in a staggering 43 competitions and run 1, and earned no less than 21 Crescents. But he didn't stop there. He has also earned 38 Clusters of Earth, 346 Clusters of Fire, 2 Pendants of Blood and 6 Clusters of Ice. Add to that a Legion of the Scholar and a Seal of Loyalty, and you see why Pel is a pillar of Tarentum.
If that wasn't enough he has earned a Dark Sage in Law, wrote up his Character wiki page (aprox. 1200 words) all while mentoring Ranarr to become a Dark Jedi Knight and leading the Order of Trident Battleteam.
Pel, you are more than deserving of this medal. Congratulations!

Members of the Appeals Panel generally serve for a period of six months. I've chosen to ignore that term limit for this group of Appeals Panel members because I truly enjoyed working with each of them and did not want to lose their contributions to my team. As a result, the current Appeals Panel members have served for over a year.
There is a misconception that the Appeals Panel is simply an "on call" position. That is, people think that this is a position that people sit in and don't have to do anything unless there is an actual appeal. That perception is incorrect, at least during my time as Justicar. I have endeavored to use the members of the Appeals Panel more as magistrates that assist me with the ongoing development of the Chamber of Justice. To that end, the Appeals Panel members have helped me with projects, given me important feedback, and been part of a team effort over the last year.
Pel gave great feedback to me while I was in the process of revising the Covenant. Pel gave instrumental feedback on many portions of the revised Covenant, including the Appeals Panel sections. His feedback helped to shape a new Appeal Panel portion of the Covenant that will be a boon to the future of the CoJ and club as a whole. Specifically, Pel provided 17 comments on the Covenant that focused me on questions a normal member might have when reviewing the document. For example, he had questions on the nature of the suspension of a member subject to an Order of Advanced Incarceration that led me to make clarifying changes to the text. He prompted me to require the authority to give executive penalties to be clearly enumerated by the Grand Master. He also helped me clarify the strange idea that leaders of independent units are considered part of the Dark Council but are not technically on the Dark Council as per the Covenant. In all, his suggestions were very-well thought out and helped me bring clarity to the document. In addition to the above, Pel, has taken it upon himself to take the introductory discussions that we held when he was appointed and develop it into a draft manual that will eventually help ease the transition between Appeals Panels. The manual has some work to go, but the basics have been included and I will not need to start from "square one" on it.
I have been grateful to have Pel on my staff and can only thank him through this small effect. I hope to work with him again in the future.
Thank you,
Jac
