Wes has a very hectic real-life which has a firm stranglehold on him; 50+ hour weeks tend to do that to a person. It was for this fact that when the recent Arcona operation rolled around, I told Wes that if he didn't have time, not to worry and to focus on getting his real-life dealt with. However, Wes instead turned around and turned in 3 entries of the highest quality. He managed a 2nd, a 4th and a 9th place from these 3 events, knowing that rather than spread himself thin he would instead concentrate on those few events he could do and make sure that he did them well. The results, of course, can be seen.
It's not always easy to find time to balance a full real life and some of the pressures that can come from the Brotherhood, and it can sometimes be hard to force yourself to do what can feel like work in the form of entries to competitions when you've just finished a shift at some ungodly hour. In thanks for Wes doing just that, we want to give him this medal so that should his insomnia hit, he can beat himself into unconsciousness with it.
Congratulations Wes, keep on trucking.
