Primary reason

Some say to be awarded a Grand Cross is to complete the collection of crosses attainable in the brotherhood. This is why today it is my honour and privilege to be able to award Celahir Erinos his first Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He has proven his worth to me, his house and Arcona.
As a leader in Clan Arcona, Celahir always excels and strives to achieve the best. He is currently the reigning Quaestor of House Qel-Droma for nearly 4 months now. He has been active and supportive of his leaders and members, always making sure he places them above himself in every situation. He also is reliable posting reports on a regular basis and is always able to answer emails quickly and efficiently. I also found that as one of his Battle Team Leaders he is confident and reliable answering questions and striving for perfection. Cel has supported me throughout my current time as the leader of Wolf Guard.
Since joining Arcona, I noticed that members have been looking up to Cel and try to be as active as he is (such as by participating in the RoS in multiple events as well as helping to run and focus the direction of his house in this event). He has been inspirational and it is only right that he deserves such a prestigious award for his work towards the Clan’s overall placing. He mentors the younger members when they need help, and is able to continue to run competitions to keep both old and new members active and working hard. I am proud to have a Quaestor like Cel.
All in all, Celahir has earned this medal with sheer activity, leadership and his desire to mentor those around him. Good work Celahir
Cethgus Kuga, BTL, Wolf Guard

I’d just like to throw in my two cents as I’ve spent the last three months as Celahir’s Aedile in House Qel Droma.I believe Celahir is deserving of this prestigious award. His efforts at leading HQD and supervising the Battleteams has been superb, as well as easily adapting to his role and meshing well with myself. Celahir’s methods were completely different from his predecessor, yet he worked hard and achieved results. Having lead Soulfire to their victory in the Third Great Hunt, to becoming Quaestor over myself due to my unfortunate problems in RL, Celahir was worked tirelessly to prove himself. He has earned not only the respect of myself, but the respect of everyone in the Clan. I am proud to have worked with Celahir in HQD and can only wish him the best of luck with his new Aedile. I’m sure the other recs will give a lot more reasons why Celahir deserves this award, so I’ll stop twaddling on. Congrats Irfan, you deserve it.
Sanguinius Tsucyra, Quaestor of House Galeres.

Since Celahir's appointment to the position of Quaestor of House Qel-Droma he has done everything in his power to assist and encourage his Battleteam Leaders and be a strong leader and example to the entire House. Cel's laid back manner and easy-going style of leadership has made serving in HQD a fun and enjoyable experience, but he has also made sure that his leaders and members know that excellence is important for this Arconan House.
During the Rite of Supremacy, Celahir was a great leader both by example and encouragement. Because of his duties both as a Quaestor and his work in the latest RoS, I believe that Cel fully deserves to be recognized by receiving a Grand Cross. Congratulations, Cel, and keep up the good work.
Driftan Housan, Aedile, House Qel-Droma

As a subordinate and friend, Cel has been nothing but supportive of me. He is always challenging me to become better and makes sure that If i need help or have a question, I get it answered or he gives me the help I need. He has been a solid, consistent figure in my time here, and I know that I can always count on him if I fall into a hole. He is a great role model and an excellent leader with a lot of potential for greatness. He leads by example and never gets down on himself or anyone else for that matter. Optimism is contagious.
He deserves a GC more than anyone else I can hink of.
Marick, BTL, Oblivion Brigade

I want in on this recc too =P. Celahir is a bloody star. I took a chance on him, by giving him BTL of Soulfire when he started getting really active, and I can only say I’ve never once looked back. He’s earned the respect of his House, earned the friendship of the summit and easily slotted into next-in-line for Proconsul without even a blink – the only thing holding him back is simple time-in-position. He’s taken to the various duties of office like a duck to water, and I’ve yet to find an area he isn’t willing to at least try his hand it. He’s experimented with gaming, writing, graphics in the myriad of Competitions that have come his way since joining Arcona and proved fairly proficient at them all, yet his true talent lies in his leadership. He’s charismatic, easy-going, laid back, but he gets his point of view across and motivates his members and summit excellently. As a Consular aide, he’s often my port of call and no task is too menial if it helps me out and gets Arcona’s work done. I eagerly look forward to the future in Arcona with Celahir at the helm. Well done, bro.
Sashar Arconae

Primary reason

I am honored to lift up one of my Battleteam Leaders, Celahir Erinos Arconae, for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He serves with distinction as a leader and heart as a member of House Galeres and Clan Arcona. Today, I award him for his continued loyalty, dedication and effort.

Since his last recognition, he has organized 12 competitions, co-organized 4 competitions and participated in 51 competitions. He submitted 26 PvP Matches, 107 PvE Activities, 4 Fiction Activities, 2128 words of fiction and passed 1 Shadow Academy course. In addition, he has collected 10 Crescents (2 Cr-D, 3 Cr-A, 1 Cr-S, 4 Cr-E), 4 Pendants of Blood, 2424 Clusters of Fire, 169 Clusters of Earth, 4 Clusters of Ice and 2 Legions of the Scholar.

Last, but not least, he serves as one of the pillars of Clan Arcona and House Galeres. As a Battleteam Leader, he organizes competitions for the Battleteam, House and Clan. The way he handles his workload, relationships with members, and personal involvement is a testament to why he has served as Consul of Arcona and is a named Arconae. He serves as a mentor in the Post-DJK Program, assists in the fictional development of Galeres, created an entire sticker pack for Telegram from our “My Little Brony” competition (over 16 images), and helps his peer Battleteam Leader in his development and progression. Additionally, there is no reward for rejuvenating a family or a Battleteam… but Soulfire is full of happy, active members and I have more Erinos recently returned to activity than I know what to do with. All a testament to the hard work he does to provide an engaging environment for everyone. Thank you, Irfan.

Additional reasons

Celahir, or Irfan, we all know him as both but he has truly set the example in recent months for activity within the Club. Not only does he manage to participate individually, competing regularly, but he puts his all into what he does as can be seen by how he has won a crescent for every event he has participated in since his last award.

This mentality melds into everything Celahir does: when he offers to tackle a project he does so with gusto, and he has frequently provided information, write-ups and built tables for use in reports, emails and the like. But he also acts as a personal advisor to his Aedile and a constant voice of experience for the Galeres summit.

I will allow others to speak further of his influence throughout the Clan, but speaking on behalf of House Galeres, we would not be the same without him.

Congratulations on your Grand Cross of the Dark Side, Celahir.

Celahir is a prime example of a member who can accomplish quite the mind-boggling amount over the course of a few months. In the last three since he received a promotion, Cel — or Irfan — has been a bastion of personal activity, both in his creation and consumption of competition content, his administration of his Battleteam, and his assistance to his summit as one of Arcona’s longtime advisors and now-title bearers. As his Quaestor will tell you, he’s (co)organized 16 competitions and participated in 51 total, while placing in a multitude of them and encouraging his clanmates to do the same. He’s been an integral part of promoting the last few Clan events in leading by this same example, and has done so while attending to his duties as Soulfire’s Battleteam leader, writing emails, a report, and several recommendations attached to members of his team and House, as well as performing extraneous and often unnoticed tasks to encourage all our members, from simple chatting to Telegram sticker creation to helping revive old members of the Clan.

His exemplary activity, and of course, his exemplary attitude, since October are reasons aplenty, I think, to congratulate Celahir for earning this Grand Cross. Well done, Arconae.

Primary reason

I am honored to write the recommendation of Celahir Erinos Arconae for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He has demonstrated the leadership, accountability, and dedication that this award requires.

We both returned to active status at the same time last Summer. As his Quaestor, I was amazed at how - as a member - he manhandled both House and Clan politics. Donny & I quickly decided to put him to work as a Battle Team Leader where he drove our Gaming culture and content through Arcona Gaming Dominance (AGD) and our Jedi Academy Free-For-Alls. Through his dedication for learning Server commands, rallying people in House Chats, and helping our new (and some of our old) members get on… we’ve crushed Gorefest Weekends (literally thousands of CFs as a Clan), AGD (16 events, double digit participants; since his last merit), and the GMRG Leaderboard (7 of 9 Q1, 8 of 9 Q2).

As an individual, he has participated in 57 competitions, (co)Organized 17 competitions, submitted 39 PvP Matches, logged 40 PvE Activities, penned 1 Fiction Activity (595 words!), and passed 2 Shadow Academy courses. He has also collected 16 Crescents (1 Cr-D, 6 Cr-A, 5 Cr-S, 4 Cr-E), 1 Pendant of Blood, 909 Clusters of Fire, 1 Clusters of Ice, 88 Clusters of Earth, 1 Legion of the Scholar, and 1 Scroll of Indoctrination. He also served faithfully as a Battle Team Leader under me for 2 months; helping pave the way for the retirement of Soulfire and laying the groundwork for what would become Tal’mahe’Ra. As a Quaestor, he worked diligently to write medal recommendations for his members, audit/catalogue their activity, and administer his House (hired a BTL, individual e-mails to inactive members, etc).

His strong presence, calm nature, and desire to do for others saw him rise to the rank of Quaestor in Qel-Droma where I was honored to name him my peer leader and partner in the Clan. From here, he continued to drive content (AGD), participate (like a boss!), and help establish a new operating model for Arcona that puts our members (not just the leaders) in control of the content and direction of the Houses and Clan. This was achieved by leveraging the Battle Team Leaders to take on clan-wide responsibilities and, effectively, promoting every member of a Battle Team to the ‘role’ of Battle Team Sergeant (where they were responsible for the progression of the BT’s fiction, competitions, and communication). We have already seen members - Xenna, Riverche, Tamashi, Kharoc, Rins’zler, Zujenia and Livana - leap forward to create content and drive the clan, something that could not have been done without Celahir’s assistance and shaping of this model.

Thank you for both the individual activity and leadership over the past five months!

Additional reasons

Celahir, or as nearly everyone knows him, Irfan, has become a rock upon which the Summit leans. He has been anything and everything we have needed of him he dutifully in the role of Battleteam Leader to Arcona’s oldest standing Battleteam, Soulfire. In this role he not only embraced the changes made within House Galeres, but also assisted with the transition of Soulfire to a Legendary Unit as a new Battleteam was designed for House Galeres upon his departure.

He also has continued to encourage activity within the entirety of the Clan, never wavering in his dedication, showing this by running an extremely successful eight weeks of Arcona Gaming Dominance. Irfan has succeeded in taking a small gaming competition built primarily for Galeres and expanding it to the entirety of the Clan as well as building upon the former mold. This dedication to taking current processes and building them to be better and more efficient is seen in everything Irfan does. On a daily basis he assists his Summit with development of tools and resources, custom trackers, new tips or tricks in email management, review of member activity, and more. You name it and he can likely design something for it.

Beyond just his desire to help ease the use of various processes, or to expand on existing tools, he remains available nearly any time of day time as a mentor, a leader and a friend to his members and his Summit. There is not a discussion that goes by that Irfan does not provide feedback or commentary on. With his experience within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood this has become an invaluable tool for his fellow Summit members.

Irfan has also fulfilled a unique role that I can genuinely say no other member would be capable of: he has been the bridge between the prior generation of Arconae and older members and the new generation of Summit. He has worked tirelessly to be available to help mediate disputes and work alongside his Consul and Proconsul in building a bond between the current Summit and the members of the Arconae. He helps to encourage open and honest discussion and the impact it can have by incorporating members of all experience levels both new and old.

Arcona would not be what it is without him here to guide, mentor and help us grow.

For these reasons and more that I could never hope to find the words for, I give my voice in recommending Celahir Erinos Arconae for the rank of Grand Cross of the Dark Side.
