After going through Karel's records, a puzzling situation came about. Although he has only been active within Arcona for a short while, he was however overly active in his previous home, Tarentum. During his time in House Tridens, Karel earned himself over 100 Cluster's of Fire; 9 Crescents and 3 Legion of the Scholars. From this, it can be easily extrapolated that he was tremendously active, as these medals show only the times he "won" and not his overall activity at the time. These medals alone however show great strides, and it all occurred after his promotion to Jedi Hunter and before his time in Arcona.<br>
<br>
As such, I wish to award Karel for his overlooked hard work and effort. Although it's been a long time in coming, he is deserving of this medal. Congrats!

Karel has been a driving force in Galeres, a picture of activity, and a warrior of the Clan. Among other things that he has done on IRC, and projects he's helping with, here's what he's done since becoming Knight at the end of the Great Jedi War:<br>
9/02: 3 Clusters Of Fire<br>
9/09: 23 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/10: 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star<br>
9/10: 28 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/19: 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star<br>
9/19: 55 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/24: 11 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/27: 33 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/27: 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star<br>
9/28: 46 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/29: 1 Crescent with Sapphire Star<br>
9/30: 26 Clusters of Fire<br>
9/00: HTML Work for reports<br>
9/00: SF Honor Code Competition (3rd Place)<br>
<br>
That is, by my math, 225 Clusters of Fire. Karel has been a loyal and constant presence, and he deserves recognition.<br>

I recently looked over Karels dossier and I must say I am ashamed over what I saw, not a single merit award was given during his first tenure in House Tridens. Whilst Id like to go back and rectify this mistake that I cannot do, what I can do however is prevent such a thing happening again. In the two months since his return to Tridens Karel has juggled time between being a member of a House and his demanding task on the Dark Council, he has managed to accumulate a 100+ CFs, numerous Crescents for participating in my recent House competition as well devising a trivia and a su-doku grid for two other competitions. For this sterling effort he is most deserving of this SC. Congrats Karel.

For creation of the ICTE website which features live scoring and self-reporting capability. This allows the participants to actually keep track of their scores as well as making my job a lot easier. Excellent work!

I took Karel on as a M:SCL a couple months ago and he has done remarkably well so far. Despite the difficulties I've had in getting feedback to him due to the SQL Injector attacks, Karel has been tremendously patient. He's taken the feedback well, consistently improving upon his coding and taking my comments in stride. I can tell that he's eager to do more, and I'm looking forward to getting him more access to projects. Karel is working right now on an important file upload class that will be used all over the DB site. He's doing great work on it and I will be glad to see it launched.
Keep it up, Karel.

Karel has done an outstanding job as webmaster for both ICTE and as a gaming staff member. His most recent contributions are the coding of a stat package that allows the member to see a large number of statistical information about the performance of each player during the current ICTE. The most helpful feature was the addition of a popup window that shows the number of unique players that the member has played during that particular ICTE which makes it very easy to determine if the member has met the minimum requirement of unique opponents in order to become the All-Star. Since his last award, Karel has also coded a brand new bracket system that was used during the "There can be only one..." tournament to great success. His coding skills have now been turned more towards helping out with the DJB site, but he still has time to help out as a gaming staff member when he is called upon. Great work!
