<br><br> As a gamer, Malidir is one of Arcona's most valuable members. We jokingly refer to him as the "CF Machine", but that is based in absolute fact. In the last 4 and half months, he has earned 1825 CF's, an impressive amount by any standard. He currently in 2nd place on the CF ranking list and has achieved this in less than a year. He is at every gaming night, ICTE and SIT and plays to win for Arcona. He has earned 4 Ruby, Amethyst, Emerald and Sapphire Crescents each, for placing in ICTE, SIT and various other gaming competitions. He has also earned himself 10 ECF's for defeating fellow Guardsmen.

<br><br> He has currently on the Gaming and ICTE staff and works hard to promote gaming throughout the DB as well as with the other allied clubs. Malidir is one of the current Guard Captains of the GMRG, a truly elite and much sought after position. He deserves this GC for his sheer determination in the gaming arena as well as for his efforts to motivate and encourage the rest of his clan to play. <br><br>

<br><br> I've known Malidir since I came back from Rogues in mid-July. My first impression of him was that he was an avid gamer, and nothing else. But in the last months he has proven me wrong, and I can only be happy that I mis-judged him. Malidir has displayed formidable skill and sportsmanship throughout the last few months, obtaining a top 3 position in 8 ICTE editions, 4 of which he was crowned All-Star. That equals to 2 months of gaming at the highest level, a performance that few members can pride themselves with, even in the course of an entire career.

<br><br> Malidir has obtained over a thousand Clusters of Fire in such a short time span, he has already reached a level at which most gamers give up from exhaustion, or never reach at all. Yet he still manages to find the time to engage in his passion, at the same time juggling a collection of very time consuming jobs.

<br><br> But Malidir is more than a gamer, since he became my assistant in the ICTE, he has helped this tournament flourish through his hard work, dedication, and willingness to help and inspire gamers in the Dark Brotherhood or Allied Clubs. Malidir fully deserves his award, and I can only hope that more members are as sincere and altruist as him, for it is people like this that form the basis of tomorrow's great leaders.

I hereby recommend Malidir Dinistr Erinos be awarded the Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his participation and efforts in the GJW. Malidir came, an outstanding, 8th in the JO/JA/JK Ladder, playing 284 matches and scoring 486 points. He also came 2nd in the BF2/EaW/Other Ladder, with a total of 245 Matches Played and 940 points scored! Furthermore he came 133rd in the Fiction ladder 31st in the Graphics ladder, completing 7 events. This exemplary display of skill, participation and effort is thoroughly deserving of recognition. Malidir is one of those members whose superiors love and hate him. They love him because of his insane activity levels, but in the same token the sheer time they spend counting his medals can get a bit infuriating sometimes. Nevertheless, it is time for me recommend yet another one for this member who has shown his skill in combat over and over again.

In the recent Great Jedi War, Malidir carried Arcona almost single-handedly in the ‘Other Gaming’ section of the competition, greatly contributing to the end position that Arcona received. He gained an extremely impressive total of 344 Clusters of Fire from the two gaming ladders, as well as receiving three Silver Novas and a Bronze Nova for his placings in the ladders. However, Malidir also found time to participate in various other events, submitting fictions and graphics as well as continuing to game at a high level.

Malidir is one of the most prized members in Arcona, and his recent activity has shown us why we value him so much. Hopefully this reward will do him justice and make his ego that little bit much bigger, because it deserves to be sometimes, such as now.

Mal never fails to come out swinging and has proved time and time again that he has the tenacity and skill to take lengthy competitions by the horns and beat them to death, where others tend to dip in and out. Superb performance and this performance (2nd overall in the Feud), when combined with his recent gaming achievements make Malidir more than deserving of an award. In the Feud, he managed to rack up 3 first places, 3 second places and 2 third places, but before the Feud he had been gaming constantly and had finally reached the milestone of 5000 CFs, having gained 236 CFs since the beginning of February alone, as well as a Pendent of Blood. Malidir's activity shows no sign of abating either and I can think of no one in Galeres who is more deserving of this award than Malidir. He is a shining example to the new generation of Arconans and long may this continue. Thank you for your hard work Malidir, you truly deserve this award my friend. To sum Malidir up I would like to state that he is quite simply "a machine". His participation was exemplary, the quality of his submissions were excellent and overall he is exactly what every memebr should aspire to be; fully engaged, active and positive in his approach to competitions. The bets thing about Malidir is that this is his CONSTANT approach to everything. He has never waned in all the time i ahve known him. He is a gaming stalwart and with over 5000 CF's this record speaks for itself. Arcona recognises your massive contribution in the form of this Grand Cross.
