Following the Conclave of Clan Naga Sadow for the Month of August 2005 the Clan Summit and Inner Circle wish to present Manesh Sadow with a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

This recommendation comes in light of Manesh's high levels of activity in recent months, particuarly in the Independence Games 2005. Since returning to full activity Manesh has proven himself a tremendous asset to the Clan once again. He placed in the top ten at the Indepence Games, helping to earn Clan Naga Sadow a high standing in the final results. He is also one of the few who reguarly participates in things such as Allegiance tournaments- on top of doing his best to generate more interest and participation in such games and events.

Manesh is an exemplary member of the Clan and one of the most active in recent months. His interest, contribution, and general light-heartedness are an inspiration to the Clan and it is for this reason we wish to present him with a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Primary reason

Following the Conclave of the Inner Circle of Clan Naga Sadow for the month of January 2006 the Black Guard, Inner Order, Sons of Sadow and Clan Summit wish to recognise the work of Manesh Sadow with the Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Since resuming full activity Manesh has become one of the most active, if not the most active, members in the Clan. In spite of not having much left to get in his current rank and station he has become something of a leader without being in a leadership position. Manesh leads by example, setting the level for people to strive for, working toward seeing the Clan excel on almost a daily basis, be it in the ICTE or the GMRG Crucibles.

Here is a selection of the recommendations:

I would like to take the time to point out a stellar member of House Ludo Kressh. Manesh has been with us a very long time, much longer than I have been here in fact. However, since I have been a Leader of any kind in this House he has been an inspiration. Manesh has consistently served his House and Clan well and admirably for years. In the last months, I have seen an impressive amount of activity from him in many areas. He has helped lead us to participate in the ICTE's and every competition that has come along. He has passed an enormous number of SA courses recently, another indicator. Manesh is always about on IRC to help anyone who asks. He has been compiling the History of House Marka Ragnos, something that needed to be done desperately. There is much more, too much to even begin to type out. I feel he is worthy of a Grand Cross as his Quaestor. ~ SW Macron Goura Quaestor of Ludo Kressh

Manesh is an asset to Naga Sadow and the DB in many different ways. Not only has he been a visible presence online and in the email lists, he has been extremely active in almost every ICTE and Sunday tourney in the last several months. He is always out there, encouraging people to play JA/JO. Its not just his participation, but his positive attitude which earns him this medal. Manesh is working on compiling and creating the gaps of the history of Marka Ragnos so that we have a solid piece of history for our group. This important piece of work will be just another small piece of the things that this member has given to this club, without any request for recognition. This is just one small way we can thank him, but it is really not enough. Congratulations on your award, Manesh. We really appreciate your dedication to this group. ~ KP Kat Pridemore Aedile of Marka Ragnos

Manesh Sadow, one of the most constant and stalwart fixtures of our Clan, has done so much for the activty of Naga Sadow. His return from retirement as one of the most long-standing Quaestorhoods has been a triumph. And he has taken many with him on his travels and rallies to competitions. His is a prime example of an older member encouraging the younger ones... by leading from the front, by getting dirty with them. Manesh has devastated numerous ICTE events, Sunday competitions, and too many other competitions to count. His ability to lead without a leadership position is so very crucial to Naga Sadow, and it is for these successes that I support the reccomendation for his Award. Congratulations, Manesh. ~ KPN Muz Sadow Herald, former Proconsul

On behalf of the Inner Circle I extend our congratulations.

I would like to commend Manesh Sadow. His work as our Clan Consul has been outstanding. I find him to have a cool head, to genuinely care about his members, and to be very approachable. As well, since his last promotion, he has earned an enormous amount of seals, clusters of fire, crescents, and other accords. I would try to itemize them all, but it would take too much time. This just goes to show how he leads by example and is always active. Given his long period of excellent service to this Clan, as well as being a great leader and administrator, I feel he is worthy of recognition via a Grand Cross. - Macron Keibatsu, CNS PCON

In his time as Consul since the last GJW, Manesh has worked extremely hard and has done well in his position. He genuinely cares about CNS, its members and what people think of it, and keeps active leading by example. He has started the CNS Historical competitions with multiple platforms giving members lots of chances to participate and win Crescents, he has worked with others on the CNS Wiki sites. He takes a genuine interest in newer members both contacting them and the House Summits asking for progress on their trials and making suggestions, and has recently created a spreadsheet system listing each members progress in comparison with trial requirements making it easy for us to see what a member still needs to do. He also sets an example by taking part in members own competitions. His attitude is important as well, he is aware that as Consul he represents the CNS members. He discusses DB wide issues with the Summit and Conclave taking note of their opinions before making a decision and encourages people to speak up on issues. He also encourages members to apply for positions and gives them advice to help them with their careers. He also consults with Summit members on appointments but allows them to make their own decisions after he has given his advice. He is also working to keep CNS an example of a Clan that does well while still valuing its members and their opinions not just concentrating on the most active members or the veterans. For all of this, and because he is a member who isn't obsessed by his own personell development or his place in history but about his Clan, Manesh has earned a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. - Malisane De Ath, HLK QUA

Manesh has been very helpful in getting me confortable with my move to Quaestor. He has been instrumental in helping me with decisions and ideas that would help make House Marka Ragnos thrive. I am glad to know that I can talk to him and receive instrumental advice from him. Not only does he help with providing advice to younger leaders, he has created a multitude of competitions to get the Clan up and active. For his hard work and dedication to Clan Naga Sadow, I reccomend Manesh Sadow for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side! Congrats, Manesh! -Shikyo Keibatsu, HMR QUA

Manesh Sadow has done an exceptional job as CON for Clan Naga Sadow. He takes the time to get to know the newer members on IRC, responds promptly to any and all inquiries, even participates in competitions on a regular basis. We are lucky to have him leading our Clan and this award is much deserved. - Ashia Keibatsu, HLK AED

Well, what to write about Manesh? I have known Manesh from before I even went to CNS, mostly on the gaming battlefield when we both played Jedi Academy, and he was always patient and understanding. No as he is Consul of CNS, things never changed. He is still patient and understanding towards his members and inspires them with loyalty and respect. These are the main qualifications as a leader and even though people sometimes make fun of our Consul, he still had the respect and loyalty of his people. Manesh does a great job by combining seriousness with humor and the occasional craziness, to ensure that CNS is and forever will be a fun environment and really succeeds in distancing CNS in what it is always called 'Mini-Tarentum'. He has shaped a new and improved CNS by his vast leadership, patience when resolving problems and helps even the smallest of members with his characteristic kindness. To summarize, Manesh Rocks, period. - Ylith Atema, HMR AED

Manesh has done a great job as Consul of CNS so far. Sure he's hit a few obstacles, but what CON doesn't? He's handled them well and CNS is better for having someone such as Manesh as its Consul. For the last year I haven't been very active and because of that I took a few months off but when I returned, it was Manesh who suggested I ask Macron if he needed help with the DSC and now I'm feeling like I have a purpose in the DB again. I'm feeling motivated to be more active than I have in years and I believe it is all thanks to Manesh and what he has done for me. Thanks Manesh, and congrats on the award. -J'Rai Sadow, Son of Sadow

Manesh has had a lot to deal with recently. Political nastiness the likes of which have never been seen in Sadow's halls, the return of particularly vile ghosts of the past, and the mad propagandizing of other members against his good name and our clan, all have weighed heavily on our slurpee-swilling Sadow. As we prepare for another good RoS and War (and Manesh enrolls in the hair-club for men, due to the stress), there are many of us who felt it beyond necessary to let Manesh know that we think he's been doing a bloody fantastic job in dealing with it all. And so, we proudly present Manesh Sadow with a Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Oh yeah, Manesh... TUSSOCK!!! - Muz Keibatsu Sadow, Herald
