Physical Description

Physical Description:

Riku sports a closely shaven head, a strip of hair runs down the middle and ends in a ponytail at the base of his neck. Circling the back of his head are Aurabesh tattoos that signify the number thirteen, two small tattoos rest above his left eye, a strip sits in the middle of his bottom lip whilst a circuit shaped tattoo frames his right eye.

His nose sports the telltale sign of a breakage and high cheekbones highlight strong features. Due to a replacement cybernetic left eye, a piece of technology breaks through the skin to the right of it. A dark, styled beard completes his facial features and though young flecks of silver can be seen appearing throughout his hair due to the clones progressive ageing.

His muscular body is covered in similar tattoos to those that line his head. His right arm has been replaced with a cybernetic lost during his first conflict. Besides the odd scar and battle wound nothing in particular stands out that separates him from the average human.

Armour:

The armour Riku wears is similar to the ARC Commandos of the Republic Grand Army. Altered to reflect his status as an Aeriel Assault trooper the helm is beaked, more for design than anything else but the helm comes with the extra benefit of covering his facial hair. The shoulders are fitted with vents similar to that of a aircraft to improve the armours aerodynamic qualities. Signifying his status in the Nihilgenia the armour has a half cloak that covers the bottom half. Being a Nihilgenia the armour is decorated in the colours of his liege lords, the Keibatsu.

Bandoliers and pouches for spare ammunition and his explosives line the armour. Each of his wrists holds a Vibroblade whilst his left, sitting a little higher up, holds the MM9 Wrist Rocket launcher.

Champion Of The Keibatsu (General Aspect)

Not just a soldier, Riku is also a well-trained battlefield commander in his own right. Well versed in ground tactics, he puts his own experience into play when coordinating offensive and defensive manoeuvres. Unable to sit back and let his men do all the work he is usually the first one to enact his own plans. Rukia refuses to sit idly by as his men carry out his plans, preferring instead to lead from the front, much as he expects all of his men to do.

As an assault trooper, he is not beyond assigning the toughest parts of the missions to himself, not for the glory but for the chance to prove himself to those around him.

Nihilgenia (General Aspect)

Riku wasn’t born, he was created. A soldier bred for one purpose and in some ways bred to simply know one thing; war. A descendent of the ARC Commando created for the Republic years ago and the Empires SCARs, his skills transcend that of a common soldier but it comes at a price. Bound until death to the Keibatsu family his entire purpose is to serve and die in their name.

Though granted the honour near equal standing amongst the family in recent times he still struggles with the concept of free speech, ideas and will. Loyalty binds him and in conflicts of interest between Clan and Family, he will always put his family first.

For The Greater Good (Personality Aspect)

Unwilling to bow, except to the family, Riku believes the sacrifice of one is worth the saving of millions. This belief has no limits going as far as the ideology that full genocide of a planet would be better than the loss of a system. This dark outlook serves him well as a commander, enabling him to go that extra mile needed to secure the victory. He is, however, unwilling to simply sacrifice his own men and fellow Nihilgenia, causing some confusion amongst allies and potentially souring relationships with them as he is seen favouring his own.

Given he believes in the superiority of the Nihilgenia and Keibatsu over that of other beings this makes complete sense to the Commander. After all, if the best fall who would ensure victory was secured?

Do I Exist? (Personality Aspect)

Having been grown for for the Keibatsu family, Riku has always wondered does he truly exist as a person. A clone of someone he will never meet, a child born without a father but with dozens of brothers who all claim to be him. The mental scars that have been left as he developed his own sense of self and personality have left trenches of self-doubt and worth. He often wonders if he is worthy of ever holding the Keibatsu name on top of wondering wherever he is worthy of holding the simple title of human.

Unwilling to give up he pushes forward every day. However, as he emerges from the background into the forefront of a Clan he feels the crushing presence of self-doubt begin to emerge once more and old scars begin to open and bleed.

The Way Of The Warrior Is Death (Combat Aspect)

As a Clone, Riku was trained from inception to not value his own life, to follow orders even if it meant his own demise. He was a part of a brotherhood, a minor part of a greater whole, and sacrifices were often necessary.

Unafraid of death almost to the point where he seems to enjoy the adrenaline rush that comes from the near misses, Riku pushes past his own limitations, throwing himself into harm's way. This daredevil attitude has been personified in his aerial combat, utilising jetpacks and high explosives even in the midst of heated combat.

Bird Of Prey (Combat Aspect)

When it comes to the art of swordplay Riku sees himself as second to none. His limits were tested when he was handed a lightsaber and told to spar and whilst in no shape to take on a competent saber user, against those of lesser skill and especially those with no training he wields his blade with severe and deadly effect. Using the saber as more than a weapon he understands its effectiveness at getting tasks done that require the right touch, like opening blast doors. As he wields his saber in one hand he wields his blaster pistol in the other, using it to take out those beyond his reach as he cuts down those closest to him.

Should he push himself like he usually does he may find himself overwhelmed by superior numbers resulting in a swift and pointless death as he loses himself in the dance.
