Consuming a great deal of my time of late was the December 2012 Armed Forces Refit. It's run off a spreadsheet that was only partially automated and woefully out of date.
Enter Yacks.
He wasn't asked. He just saw what needed to be done and did it. This is what shit-hot operators do. They don't complain, they don't sniff around for reward, they see a job and they do it. Period. It is exactly this kind of thing, this attitude, I want to see more of. This is what gets things done. Moves us forward. This will get us where we want to go. Anything less and you are wasting oxygen.
Yacks worked through several iterations of the sheet with me. Each time he took my feedback, request for additional features, etc., and simply made them happen within hours of my asking. The new sheet is incredible. Fully automated. No more calculations by hand.
Following the next Vendetta event, we will pull this wonderful new sheet out and be done with our business in less time than ever before. Thanks to Yacks. Outstanding effort, brother. Pleasure to work with you.

Yacks, for the last couple of months since you have taken over the position of Aedile, you have been a true inspiration and example for me. Working with you is really impressive and I am still struggling to keep up with the speed you finish Taldryan and DB-related stuff. Still you give more than your best and shine as part of Taldryan’s Special Forces during Phase 2 of the Dark Crusade.
Despite the various ongoing activities and projects you are involved in, you managed to participate in every single event in every chapter of the Dark Crusade ensuring Taldryan to remain part of the Top units of the Brotherhood.
For being an extremely awesome asset to the House and inspiration for myself and every member in Taldryan, I am strongly recommending that Dark Jedi Master Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor shall be awarded a Steel Cross on behalf of every member in Taldryan. Thank you Yacks.

I have been Justicar for nearly two months. During that time I have leaned heavily on two of the former Justicars--Kir and Yacko--for advice and counsel. The transition to Justicar is not an easy one. There is a heavy burden placed on the individual, and there is not much by the way of written guidance. So, in order to become accustomed to the job and learn my role, Kir and Yacko have been crucial to me.
I have had the opportunity in the past two months to deal with numerous judicial issues, including eight cases, multiple investigations, a disruptive member issue, and covenant amendment discussions. In each case, Kir and Yacko have been available to assist me with making the correct decisions. They have reviewed various matters at my request and have spent many hours discussing the Chamber with me. They have been instrumental in making sure there was a smooth transition between Justicars.
In terms of actual time spent, Yacko has likely spent between 14 and 16 hours assisting me in the past two months. Specifically are the following:
- Assistance with Justicar transition: 1-2 hours
- Discussion of Chamber policies, Justicar role, and administrative issues: 4 hours
- Assistance with various investigations and trial matters, including review of opinions and debate over same: 5-6 hours
- Discussion of needed Dark Covenant amendments and proposals: 2-3 hours
- Assistance with CoJ SA Exams, including creation of answer keys and grading multiple exams: 2 hours
Yacko will continue to be a huge asset to me on a going forward basis. I appreciate all that he does and look forward to working with him further.
Truly,
Jac Cotelin
