To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to take a moment of your time to describe the work and triumphs of one Kalak Ragnose. In the time I have known Kalak he has been an undyingly loyal member of House Acclivis Draco, and has proven himself as such through his labors. Around one year ago, Kalak Ragnose began his tenure in the Summit of House Acclivis Draco, under the tutelage of Traâan Reith. In the short time the served as Aedile, Kalak quickly came into his own. In spite of the continued absence of his Quaestor, Kalak kept House Acclivis Draco alive and active. It is no surprise that when Traâan retired, Kalak would step up to lead the House. Along side Draco Maligo, Kalak proved his leadership ability and willingness to help the Clan succeed.
Even during this time, Kalak maintained other positions as well. Including but not limited to Eclectic Pedagogue and Magistrate to the Headmaster. To be able to balance house leadership along side the other responsibilities that come with such positions requires a great deal of finesse and resiliency. When it came down to it, Kalak was never too tired to help me in my endeavors. Beyond contributing to the various War Efforts of the Clan, Kalak also helped vastly when it came to producing materials for the Home front.
Kalak was instrumental in authoring several wiki pages, including the Imperial Winter Palace as well as expanding upon the histories of the Clan and his house. Additionally, Kalak was a great help in the beginning of a major project involving the Clan Nobility and the Clan Paths. In essence, the idea, many parts of which were contributed by Kalak, is to combine the Nobility program with the Path program into an interactive and effective means for stimulating interest in clan activity and participation. The details of this project are still very much top secret, but I can assure you that the amount of authoring as well as communication with outside sources is enough to be quite admirable.
I applaud Kalak on his devotion to the House, his Clan, and assisting others, all of which exceed his desire for reward and acknowledgement. After 1 year of dedicated service to the Clan, I am proud to recommend Kalak Ragnose for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congratulations, Kalak and Thank you for all of your contributions!

Kalak ruled Acclivis Draco as Quaestor for over eight months, after serving as Aedile to the same house for six months. After fourteen months therefore, he has pressed a mark on the House of the Dragon that will be hard to match by his successors. We should also remember his great work outside of our fine Clan though, serving as Magistrate to the Grandmaster, serving as Eclectic pedagogue to two courses in the Shadow Academy, writing a course for the Academy, and all this while being a leader of his house.
Kalak has grown from the snotnosed newbie I recall entering the Brotherhood about three years ago. He has turned into a wise icon for our clan and for Acclivis Draco, I have little doubt the newer members look up to him in the same manner as how he at one time looked up to other Clan Scholae Palatinae legends as RevengeX, Rhaub, and others. Always willing to impart advice, offer help or guidance, it is members like Kalak who keep the Brotherhood vibrant and growing. However, without hard work he would not have gotten to were he is now and I am certain that we will miss his particular point of view in times to come. Remember though, even if you are no longer a certified Brotherhood leader, you are still allowed to offer help and advice whenever you can. And your ideas will always be worth their weight in gold in this clan.
In the last Rite of Suppremacy, Kalak courageously led his House into the thick of things, still managing to become the fifth top scoring member of Acclivis Draco in the process, even though none of his submissions placed in the top five of any event. Since his last Merit Award, he earned a Cluster of Fire, a Scroll of Foundation, a Crescent with Sapphire Star and a Seal of Loyalty. Participating in a great range of competitions, while juggling his many tasks and positions into an orderly fashion.
In short, Kalak Ragnose is one of those members I believe everyone should aspire to be like, an active, tireless leader working with what he has in order to achieve greatness. Clan Scholae Palatinae as a whole will miss his leadership and we can only hope someone will prove able to fill the high expectations which will surely arise. For all he has done to make Acclivis Draco and by extension Scholae Palatinae a better place for everyone, as well as for numerous other reasons, I am proud to present Kalak Ragnose with this Grand Cross of the Dark Side. You have earned, my old friend.
