Since joining us in Revan Sarak has tirelessly looked for ways to aid us in every facet of our operation. His dillegence led him quickly to the rank of Sith Warrior as well as becoming the first Cell Leader in Revan's history. During the Rite of Supremacy: Spoils of War he has submitted to nearly every event including Round 1's Fiction and Poetry, Round 2's Fiction, and the Finals Fiction event. He also helped Sarin and I to provide the rest of the House with information and updates, as well as direclty contributing to our first round victory in the Antei Combat Center. We of Revan could not be more proud of Sarak and his work on our behalf. Please award him the coveted Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Raken, Independent House Revan

Leadership is not a position, it is a skill set found in few and far between. The Dark Brotherhood has developed squad sized leaders, platoon sized leaders, and company size leaders within the House structure. These individuals, when they possess the right stuff, are the fuel that keeps the Dark Brotherhood engine running. Sarak is one of these members. Organizing his team, spreading information, and remaining a vocal leader throughout the recent Vendetta, Sarak motivated house Revan and led the House to a top two finish. Leading through words and deeds, Sarak submitted to nearly every event, participated in the treacherous ACC, and still found the time to contact member after member in Revan to help encourage participation. For his leadership and stellar participation, a Grand Cross is an obvious award. Congrats. Sarin, Independent House Revan

Sometimes, you give an active member a task to keep them working. Sometimes, they ask for a task in the hopes of reward. Sometimes, however, they ask for a task for a simple reason: They want to contribute, for no reason other than the good their contribution will bring about. Such a member is Sarak Shai.

In addition to being a very capable and decisive Aedile, a responsive member, and my personal deterrent to insanity via PLA Quaestorship, he can effectively be called the father of our recent Reboot Event. If not for Sarak, it would have been a very different event and concept.Sarak's use of a Vong character sheet worked with his activity to earn him a side-plot as a GJW Incursion survivor in the event, but that side-plot blossomed into an idea between us for what the event would be about. Less than a week after I tasked him to create our enemy, the Dark Crusaders of Yun-Harla, it was done spectacularly. Similarly, when I asked him to define Si'Tilk, their base, he did so and his description was used for it in the event. It will continue to be used for it as a captured PLA structure.

His work writing the Vong characters in the fiction, his brilliant idea for his character to be a disgraced traitor of the Crusaders, his cooperation in keeping the Run-On alive, and his plot development input shaped the Taking of Si'Tilk into what it was. Finally, he single-handedly designed nearly every individual competition for the event.

To top it all off, Sarak has done all of this, has created a historic and House-changing event for PLA, with no promise or hint of reward. Furthermore, not only did he get no promise of reward, he didn't ask after one. Such dedication to the House of Ascendancy and such a steadfast and pure work ethic means that Sarak is the example of what the Brotherhood deems suitable for reward. His excellent and extensive work as a leader of Plagueis stands testament to the fact that he deserves the Grand Cross of the Dark Side. Congratulations, Sarak, and well done!

While I have not served on Summit with Kah, his impact on the House can not be understated. As a member of Odan-Urr's Summit, serving as Rollmaster for a term of no less than six months, Kah has made some serious changes to the way the House interacts and welcomes new members. As Rollmaster, his contributions are many. However, he also had the distinct pleasure of serving as Battleteam Leader for a month as we set up the Disciples of Baas, recruiting new members and getting the team rolling on to being a constructive part of House Odan-Urr - Kah served two Summit positions, not just one, requiring a great amount of time and dedication to the positions involved.

During this tenure, his major contribution was his project work, and those I helped out with I will illustrate to demonstrate how much he worked for the House. Two of his major projects that he worked on and constructed were guides to help both new members and future Rollmasters. With a little graphical help from myself, Kah created both a new member's PDF guide, explaining what the House and Club are, how to get started and work towards the early Journeyman promotions, as well as potential activities within the Club. He also wrote a Rollmaster training guide, detailing the policies of the Master-Padawan program, the duties of a Rollmaster as it pertained to Odan-Urr and how to expand and improve on the ways the position could be integrated into Summit. These two beautiful pieces of work serve as a memento of his dedication. There is also a considerable update to the Master/Padawan policy as evidenced by the total overhaul Kah made to the program.

Many Rollmasters are also judged on the merits of recruitment, membership numbers and Knightings. I would invite anyone to come into Odan-Urr's membership and see a stunningly consistent House that has reached over fifty members, beating down most Clans and Houses in terms of membership. This was Kah's domain. It was his job to retain and train members, and he did so very well. Thanks to him, as well, we've seen some great Knights come into prominence during his term as Rollmaster, at least in part due to his work; Rhiann Baenre, Turel Sorenn - both going on to Summit. Seridan Brehevik, our top performing member in many House events. Edgar Drachen, Battleteam Sergeant. Sa Ool. Aerin Taggart. These people have made lasting and meaningful contributions to the House. To say that Kah had a hand in this is true. After all, the Rollmaster must. It is their duty. This is, by and large, the lasting legacy of a good Rollmaster, and we are very thankful for this service.

For Summit service in excellence in multiple forms, for contributions to future generations of members of House Odan-Urr, I hereby recommend Kah Manet for a Grand Cross as a token of our esteem.

Since his last recognition, Kah has participated in 40 competitions, spanning all of the recognized types. He has earned 5 Clusters of Fire, 10 Clusters of Ice, 2 Clusters of Graphite, and 10 crescents spanning from Diamond to Topaz stars. He has also served on the summits of three different house: Liath and Mortis in Tarentum, and Hoth in Odan-Urr. In those capacities he has organized 9 competitions and published a little under 3000 words of report fiction, which was not represented in his CI count.

It's taken me several days at this point to figure out how to really articulate what Kah brings to Odan-Urr. He's someone who craves an accepting, friendly community, and he takes a piece of advice we've kicked around in CON reports for a while ("Be the kind of member you want to be around") and runs with it. Kah is friendly, and yes, that means talking a lot, posting memes and jokes and general banter. Blade's not estimating when she says he's in the top 3 contributors on Telegram. Now that I have a bot installed to track these things, I can say definitively that Kah shows up every day, and he's the second most active user in the clan. But beyond just making noise, Kah pushes for actual connections with people. If you're interested in a thing, he wants to hear about it. If you've had a bad day, he wants to hear about it and he wants to make you feel better. In a club where relationships are too often defined by stupid drama over Star Wars, Kah pushes for real human connections.

Kah, thanks for being you and congratulations on your fourth Grand Cross.

Additional reasons

Kah Manet is a man that needs no introduction within Odan-Urr. Whether its his fascination with horror fictions, darker movie genres, gungan voice impressions, or his wonderful pictures of his animals he shares with us, he stands out and in a good way. These take a while to have an impact but long-term it really does make a world of difference in helping the Odan-Urr community.

Since joining COU, he has been a large boost to our community. First, he livens up both the main clan chat and Hoth chat with a steady stream of messages. In fact, he is one of our top 3 contributors. Additionally, he regularly attends our social gatherings on weekends; whether it be Cards Against Humanity, YouTube Meme game, or some other concoction from the COU Summit. This isn't a cluster count or a crescent, but its just as important for a social club. Of note, it's not easy. Not everyone responds to you or even follows chat etiquette, both of which can be seriously depressing when repeated over and over again. But Kah Manet has through and through kept at it, returning to chat with others and keep the community growing. For this, he has my respect and gratitude. Community is the glue that keeps this club and its clans together. Without it, we wouldn't still be here. Thank you so very much.

Going a little more into it, I'd like to share some personal examples that really shine. First, his gungan impressions. Whenever I think of his attempts to joke with people via gungan speak, I always smile. Sure, you'll get the prerequisite "Omg Gungans, please hit the airlock button" but it always comes with overall amusement to the clan, even if it involves the creative use of lightsabers. Something, something, light side clan. Second, every weekend I run a community event so that everyone can get together in a more personal setting. Cards Against Humanity is the fan favorite so far but it can be hard to get members to all attend at the same time. Life happens, things get busy, and excuses are easy. But throughout all my sessions, he has been a reliable attendee and has also helped me get others into the gaming sessions as well. This has really helped the Clan get to know each other better and I have Kah to thank for helping make that a possibility.

In summary, this exemplary community work is a key part of any leadership position and Kah Manet has done well in this category over his period of time as Aedile of House Hoth. In addition to his other accolades and activity, I am more than pleased to reward Kah Manet for this sometimes thankless portion of a leader's job by recommending him for a Grand Cross. Thank you for everything you do for Odan-Urr, Kah. It's makes all the difference in the world and Odan-Urr is better for it. Keep up the great work!

When I first met Kah Manet, I wasn't sure exactly what to think. Here is this guy playing (and occasionally talking like) a Gungan Jedi and he is my Aedile. After five minutes of antics however, I knew that this was the place for me.

Jumping to present day, when Kah took over as Aedile of House Hoth he did not just simply fill the seat, he made the position his. He has almost constantly lead the conversation in the House chat, stirring up activity and fun. On any given day, I knew my phone would go off and it would be him striking up a conversation with one of the House members or anyone else in the chat who happened to be around. Kah's actions have lead Hoth to having the best House social activity in the Clan.

In keeping with Kah's character: Meesa am so honored to be recommending Kah Manet for a Grand Cross. Keep up the good work my friend!
