Sariel Dhejeuti is a tall male with a lithe but muscular body. He ritualistically shaves his head, as well as removing most visible body hair. He has tan skin that has become a mural of tattoos displaying various stories told through ancient hieroglyphics. His eyes are a deep blue, a small scar from a childhood accident still blemishing the skin beneath his left eye.
Sariel has devoted his life to protecting those less fortunate than others. When he was young, he defeated bullies and he never seemed to find a different line of work. Because of this aspect of his life, Sariel will never back down when the lives of the weak and down trodden are at stake, even at great risk to his own life.
Sariel Dhejeuti always seems to be preternaturally calm, never being phased by the events around him. This was brought on through years of intense meditation and psychological conditioning that practically suppressed the negative emotions in Sariel, making it near impossible to anger the man. This often leads to Sariel appearing distant to those that appear aggressive or angry, no longer seeing the need to have those emotions.
Sariel spent a lot of his younger days reading and learning a large variety of philosophies, beliefs,, parables, and allegories. He often will quote them to his comrades and associates when asked about his opinion, and will waste time explaining what he meant no matter the situation. While insightful and helpful, his comrades will at times ask him to skip the parable and get to the explanation.
Sariel has the uncanny ability to empathize with those around him, feeling their pain and deciphering how to ease it. While he may not understand some emotions, he does understand the pain and sadness of others and offers his assistance without being asked. At times, this puts him at odds with his comrades because he will do things for them without asking their permission.
Sariel was raised to not be afraid of death, believing that whatever happens to him is the will of the Force. Because of this, he is willing to put himself at risk no matter the cost to his own personal safety. He often will offer to cover the retreat of his allies when the time calls for it, intent on ensuring their survival even at the cost of his own life. At times, this lack of fear and need to protect will make him take unnecessary risks
Sariel is trained in the use of a polearm and is more than capable of defending himself. Sariel adheres to a strict pacifism policy, meaning he never intentionally initiates a fight or conflict but will defend himself if the need arises. He outright refuses to kill, believing that an unconscious opponent has learned their lesson. This pacifist belief often leads to confrontation with those who deem combat a necessary part of life.
