Having been through the regimens that warriors go through among the Gungan people, Kah Manet has a body that reflects years of training in the martial arts. He is lithely built with powerful legs and muscular arms. He has gray leathery skin with white tribal tattoos, letting his ears hang loose. His eyes are a light blue iris against an orange sclera.
During the conflict at the Dac Compound, Kah lost one of his eyes and placed a leather eye patch over it.
Lightsaber, Bone Daggers
Instructed in the ways of the Force by Tur’el Sokar, Kah Manet is far from an Orthodox Jedi. He does not believe any school of thought or Order has perfectly figured out the Force, and so follows Sokar’s thoughts on the subject: A balance must be maintained. Because of this, Kah Manet has no issues doing things some would consider more akin to the Sith than a Jedi. This lack of disdain for the Dark Side often puts him at odds with his House leadership, but his allegiance is never question.
Kah Manet is a very skilled tracker and hunter, and enjoys being surrounded by nature. Having grown up on Naboo, Kah Manet spent much of his life playing in swamps and chasing animals, eventually turning to hunting them to prove his worth to his family and tribe. Throughout his life, he has turned the act of survival into an art form, claiming to be able to eat things that would make a Gamorrean gag.
His comfort and ease in a natural environment has brought in him a discomfort in urban environments. The crowds and smells of the city cause a distraction for the Gungan, who would rather be spending his time in the tranquility of a swamp.
Kah Manet has grown to be somewhat of a legend amongst his people and the Galactic Empire, spending his entire life performing raids against slavers and Imperials and earned himself the moniker “The Scourge of Lianorm”. Kah cannot travel to worlds with heavy Imperial influence, for fear of being spotted and reported to proper authorities. Because of this status as an outlaw, criminal factions are more willing to work with the Scourge.
Another result of his outlaw and near legendary status is a number of stories and myths have cropped up around the Gungan, making it hard to discern fact from fiction about Kah’s past.
Kah Manet has trouble making personal connections and friendships, and because of this generally keeps his mouth shut unless he has something of importance to say. He isn’t shy, not by any stretch of the imagination, but he keeps his distance from others because of past betrayals and heartache. Those that Kah does call friend or family, however, have someone on their side that will go to the ends of the galaxy to make sure they’re safe.
Kah Manet was, at one point in his life, the runt of the litter. Because of this, he was teased and bullied relentlessly by his fellow peers and didn’t make many friends as a child. The fights and bruises helped dull his senses to pain, as well as teaching him to fight and defend himself, something further augmented by his training in Paonga under his father.
Kah never forgot the lessons that being victimized brought, and because of this has a need to ensure any threat is taken care of. It often puts him at odds with his fellow Housemates and close to the edge of the Dark Side, as he is far too willing to kill those could who have been offered a chance to redeem themselves.
Having grown up and lived on Naboo for practically his entire life, Kah Manet has become very fond of using daggers and polearms in combat. While he enjoys his lightsaber and the complexities the combat provides, he loves the sensation of his blade silently and sweetly slicing into soft flesh. In battle, Kah isn’t pleased until he sees or tastes blood, often licking his daggers clean after each battle. Because of this need, Kah will rarely use his lightsaber against opponents he deems it unnecessary for, and will often use his daggers at least once in a fight. This has led to him losing an advantage in combat in the past, but has also made him a more than adequate knife fighter.
