Appearing to be in his early thirties with a bald head and medium length beard, Samael stands at above average height for his people and carries a lithely built frame given to him from hours of training in assassination techniques and knife play. A ghostly white eye is set against equally pale skin, with two prominent horns protruding from his forehead due to surgically implanted calcium deposits. His left eye was replaced with a red crystal, the energy discharge that comes off of it having seared the flesh around it. The skin around them has cracked and callused, appearing as though they tore through his flesh. His back is covered in scars due to various failings of his family members in their political ploys, creating an intricate and detailed design.
His forearms, usually wrapped tightly in black cloth, are etched from the wrist to the shoulder in alchemical symbols of the Ancient Sith, with his chest having the equation many believe will lead them to eternal life branded onto it.
His facial features show excessive amounts of decay, his lips having completely fallen off as well as his nostrils and ear lobes.
Typical Attire: Samael will usually always be seen wearing his black training pants and a tight black shirt, with a blood red sash wrapped around his waist. His boots, made from the skin of a murdered family member, are also black due to dye. On official business, Samael will wear his shadowcloak over his usual attire. When in the Asylum or Castle Tarentum, the Umbaran will be seen shirtless and usually covered in someone's blood.
Lightsaber
Samael is an Umbaran, and as such feels more at home in total darkness and shadows. He will often do whatever it takes to saturate the room in darkness, whether it be destroying lights or cutting the power. This love of darkness makes him avoid bright rooms and lights, preferring to stalk the shadows and silently kill his prey. Because of this, flash bang grenades are especially effective against him.
On the rare occasions that Samael gets up close and personal, he will always be found whistling a tune or singing a song. It is his belief that combat creates a wonderful, harmonic symphony of sound and whoever is attuned to the music will control the battle. Samael must focus and concentrate to hear the music, and if he can't hear the music will often flee or retreat as he believes it is the Force telling him it is not his time to fight.
Because of his species knack for affecting the will of others, and Samael's own training in the use of telepathy and interrogation, this Umbaran is able to read others extremely accurately. There are times he will stop people before they finish a sentence, or even say the sentence before they do. Because of his abilities, he hates being spoon fed information, believing himself more than capable of discerning what is relevant and necessary.
Samael has spent quite a long time in the criminal underworld cultivating his reputation as a ghost and monster, losing whatever moral fiber he had left. Because of the care and time he has placed in building such a reputation, he has made many connections that a more wholesome person would not dare use. He also must avoid most agencies of law enforcement, as his persona is connected to numerous crimes across the galaxy.
Samael does not consider a battle over until he has tasted his opponents blood. This has led to him declaring he lost fights he clearly won simply because he did not get a chance to taste their blood. This also leads to him deactivating his lightsaber and equipping a knife he took from a Gungan he recently defeated when he perceives he is about to win, providing an opening for an enemy that isn't as defeated as Samael believes.
Though he is more than capable of fighting an enemy, Samael would much rather rely on illusions and trickery to subdue and eliminate his enemies. As much as he possibly can, Samael will cloud the mind of his enemy with false sensations or images in an attempt to make his assassination of the target easier. Because of this preference for illusions, Samael struggles more than normal against enemies who have a stronger will than he does.
