This medal encompasses two aspects of Shadow's work: his GJW level creation, and his time as CoG. Shadow was never properly rewarded for his time as CoG, but I'd like to point out some things about it. I've been in and out of the GMRG a few times, each time expecting great things out of new leaders and getting basically nothing. Well Shadow was different. He actually made the GMRG fun again. I honestly enjoyed being a part of it (first time I did), and I know many others did as well. His time as CoG definitely should not go unrewarded.

Secondly, his GJW level creation was a neccessity for the success of Phase 1 of the Obelisk portion of the GJW. He created three levels in a very small amount of time, and with the small amount of time the editors had been around did a good job in my opinion. Some might say he abandoned everyone by quitting CoG and not doing the last level he said he would do. However, you must remember what he did do, and that his reasons were not outrageous either. Shadow did a job that no one else wanted, and not many others could do. I hope this reward goes through because he is one member truly deserving of this.

Shadow, thank you for what you did during the GJW. Doing fourteen of the events is a pretty good amount and placing in two of them is even better. The advice you gave to the summit about how to do the RO helped insure that we took second place, only losing to CNS due to sheer number of posts. You came back to the Clan and fought for us in the Feud, doing well there and now here in another GJW. You participated in 14 events, took 1st and 2nd in two of those, as well as two other placements. Overall you came out 13 out of 250 participants on the MVP List, that’s awesome. Of course without your help we would not have won this war. More importantly to me you came up and directed the Clan Run-on during the second half or so of the War. This was much needed and I think helped us place as well as we did in that event. Another notable thing is you jumped on the mailing list a few times letting the members know what was up with the Run-ons, reminding about event endings, and new stuff. You can’t take the leader out of you once you go back to being just a member. <br> <br> Really though, your devotion to Taldryan has never wavered and you have been there when the Clan needed the help.
