Aidan Kincaid is a tall, slightly built, human male in his mid-thirties. He has gaunt, angular features with high cheekbones and a sharp, hooked nose. His eyes are a piercing brown under a hooded brow. His face is left rough and unshaven, and has noticeable scarring on his cheeks, likely from a bladed weapon.
Kincaid wears black, form-fitting body armor and ankle-length black leg wraps. Multiple belts criss-cross around his waist were he stows his two lightsabers. Over the armor, Kincaid dons long, flowing black robes with blue trim open in the front. He almost always wears his hood up, casting deep shadows across his face.
Lightsaber (Amber), Lightsaber (Sapphire), and Assassin Lightsaber (White)
Kincaid is apprenticed to Jac Cotelin, former Grand Master of the Brotherhood. The two formed a powerful Force Bond with each other on their first meeting, binding their destinies together. This bond allows them to sense each other, even communicate, over vast distances of time and space. Kincaid's relationship to his master is one of grudging respect, but he is still wary of Cotelin—and believes his master is wary of him as well.
Kincaid has an innate gift for solving mysteries and uncovering hidden truths. He spends most of his time lost in his own head, taking an analytical approach to processing information to create answers to problems. He augments this talent with his aptitude for Force Sense, extracting latent images and emotions from objects and locations with psychometry.
Kincaid is antisocial. The life he has led and the betrayals he has suffered has made it difficult for him to trust others. The group dynamic of the Brotherhood is alien to Kincaid. Instead, he prefers to work and train in solitude. This flaw has made him an outsider within Taldryan and caused a great deal of friction between himself and other Elders of the House.
Kincaid has a close relation with Death. His hands are drenched in the blood of both the innocent and the malevolent, as he was forced to kill to survive. That was the way of the One Sith. However, Kincaid never became bloodthirsty. He is a pragmatist. If he deems killing is a necessity, he won't think twice about ending a life. But it will be done based on cold, hard logic not a petty, emotional response. Killing is just one of many necessary evils.
Kincaid is inexplicitly drawn into battles, whether they involve him or not, but lacks awareness of his own mortality. Fighting for one's survival was the norm as an apprentice of the One Sith, and that daily struggle has inured Kincaid to the threat of death. He developed the ability to react to danger subconsciously and trusts in his instincts and in guidance from the Force as a means of defense.
Kincaid's enhances his natural aptitude for physical combat by relying heavily on the Force. Kincaid excels at augmenting his abilities with Amplification, and is able to push himself far beyond the limits of what the human body is normally capable of.
