Larrik Dul'vak is a shifty-looking man of average height, although his weight is a bit under than what most would consider healthy due to a number of bad habits he had picked up over the years, such as smoking deathsticks. His skin has an unhealthy pale pallor to it, which is a sharp contrast to the dark circles around his brown eyes and thin shoulder-length black hair, which he keeps roughly slicked back. He keeps a roughly trimmed goatee, with his cheeks ranging from clean-shaven to heavy stubble depending on how well he is taking care of himself at any given time.
Distinguishing Marks
The most noticeable thing that most people notice about Larrik is his near-permanently bloodshot eyes, stemming from too much indulgence in glitterstim and lack of sleep. A small twisted scar is cut into his thin lower lip, twisting it whenever he tries to smile or frown, giving him an even more unsightly appearance.
The only other noticeable thing on his body is a small tattoo of what appears to be a symbol signifying hazardous gas with two daggers crossed over it, tattooed into his left lower arm, just above his wrist.
Attire
For both normal wear and when he’s expecting a fight, Larrik tends toward dark colored short sleeve shirts and baggy cargo pants, along with a pair of black mid-calf combat boots. with a compact utility belt that carries his everyday items such as comlink, a couple magazines for his slugthrower, a small pack of smokes, and other gizmos and gagdets. Under that, he wears his low-slung holster which carries his slugthrower on his upper left thigh. If he’s out on the town or expecting a major fight, he would also wear a black leather jacket which is slightly loose on his frame to help cover his upper body from shrapnel.

- Inquisitorius stiletto - tucked inside jacket's inner pocket
Having lived on the streets when he was a kid and then falling into gangs and later pirate crews, Larrik is most at home among the wretched hives of scum and villainy, instead of the cleaner and fancier places that make up the more civilized- and in Larrik’s view, cutthroat- areas of the Galaxy. At least in the dirty run down parts of town, they’re more honest about being scumbags, instead of the fancy elite people who lie to themselves and others. This tends to color Larrik’s interactions with others depending on their social standing and demeanor. The more airs one puts on, the more they earn Larrik’s scorn.
For some mysterious reason only known to himself, Larrik has a violent opposition toward using chemical based weapons, and will not hesitate to vocalize his opinion and remove himself from any plan that involves him being in direct proximity of its usage. Should an ally use it around him unexpectedly, they would instantly be the focus of Larrik’s ire, if they’re lucky.
Bad stuff went down somewhere in Larrik’s past, and now one of the ways he tries to forget it is through the use- and abuse- of glitterstim spice. So long as Larrik gets his fix, he’s a perfectly pleasant person to be around. But when he goes too long without it, his temper begins to noticeably deteriorate, and if he goes long enough without it and goes into actual withdrawal, he will bite the hand that feeds him if it gets him his fix.
Larrik Samson’s life had consisted of nothing but bad turns that sent him into one bad crowd after another. Gang life, pirate life, and now mercenary life within the Dark Brotherhood has taught him one bitter lesson: There is no good thing without a hook attached to it. As a consequence, Larrik looks upon kind and good-hearted gestures with suspicion, to the point of paranoia. This trait has served him well in his service to the Brotherhood amongst the cutthroats that make up the lion’s share of their members, but it also alienated potential friends and would-be allies, turning them away from him and leaving him with precious little friends.
Even prior to his service with the Brotherhood, Larrik had preferred the heavy weight of a slugthrower in his hand over a blaster. The fact that Force Users can’t just deflect away slugs like they do with blaster bolts is a bonus that Larrik is all too happy to accept. The drawback however is that Larrik has a much more limited ammo supply compared to those who uses blasters, and if he loses track of how many shots he fired, he could find himself in an uncomfortable situation very quickly with no ammo.
If there's one thing that hunting Force Users has taught Larrik Dul'vak, it's that while they can easily pick up on people's emotions and thoughts, explosives and mines are much harder for them to react to until the trap's almost sprung. Therefore in situations that Larrik can plan ahead in, explosives will feature prominently in his ambush schemes. However this can only work when he can see the situation coming soon enough. Improvised situations are a much dicier situation for him, and one day he may well bite off more than he can chew.
