Alaris is one of the shortest Dark Jedi in the entire Brotherhood. He is very well toned thanks to the vigorous training of Ky Terrak. He is a Rutian, and as such his skin tone is a deep, royal blue.
Like all Twi'lek, he has two Lekku protruding from the top of his cranium and are nearly identical in length, his left one being longer by half a centimeter. They are each three feet in length, and he usually wraps them about himself, unless he is in combat in which he allows them to flow freely behind his torso. Alaris always appears in his Dark Jedi robes with a large black cloak covering himself, until in combat when he removes the cloak.
Alaris Jinn is the epitome of the culture of control. His one goal is to be able to manipulate events and people to do his bidding. What that bidding is remains to be seen, though he has left a trail of dead and broken bodies in his wake. He generally shies away from direct leadership, preferring instead to pull the strings of those who hold those positions. Those who discover the true nature of Alaris Jinn learn very quickly not to trust him.
Credits aren't the only form of currency, and this is something Alaris Jinn has taken full advantage of. He always goes out of his way to perform a favor or two with the expectation that the debt will eventually be called in. Scarce few individuals have declined to pay their debts, and those few were dealt with harshly.
Alaris Jinn possesses a cold and completely uncaring demeanour. This will manifest itself in the fact that when push comes to shove, Alaris Jinn will just as soon leave a struggling ally behind rather than put themselves in danger. While this may ensure his survival, it often leaves him as an outcast amongst his peers.
Alaris Jinn rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Alaris Jinn is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Alaris Jinn is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.
Alaris Jinn seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Alaris Jinn. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
Alaris Jinn prefers to tire out his opponents rather than actually inflict pain. When they have been exhausted, he knows that they are much more susceptible to manipulation and is quite happy to acquire a new puppet.
