Primary reason

The recently completed Clan Plagueis Pro Bowl gave our members the chance to step up into a high stakes, high activity competitive environment. As always, Alishu did not disappoint. During the event, he submitted entries to 24 of the possible 30 competitions, of which he placed in seven events (3 first place, one second place, and 3 third place finishes). Overall since his last recognition on April 29th, he has entered 43total competitions, earned 11 crescents (3 Ruby, 2 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, and 1 Topaz), earned 47 Clusters of Fire and 5 Clusters of Earth for his gaming efforts, and 5 Clusters of Ice across 3 fiction activities.

On top of all that activity, Alishu has served as a Magistrate to the Headmaster for the past two months, grading, reviewing and validating Shadow Academy courses, of which he has passed 14 earning one degree. Alishu's efforts led to the overall success of his team, and the Pro-Bowl overall. It is my pleasure to recommend him for this award!

Well done, Alishu!

Additional reasons

Alishu was not only active in the pro bowl, but has been exceptionally active since the day I arrived to our clan. They’re dedicated to the brotherhood and always have a unique perspective that they bring to discussions in the telegram chat. He’s also participated in 43 competitions and has done an excellent job as Magistrate to the headmaster. Well done, Alishu!

Primary reason

Alishu served almost six months as Magistrate, first to Bubba and then to me. He was a valued member of the Shadow Academy Staff. During his time as Magistrate, his major project was to take our severely outdated Dark Jedi Brotherhood History courses - both of them - and more or less completely rewrite them. This required a pretty substantial research burden made even more difficult by the fact that the DB's canon was shifting around him as he was attempting to make sense of it. In the end, the courses combine for over 6,000 words of writing that will serve as a great jumping off point for future DBers to learn what came before them.

Beyond this project, Alishu was also a vital member of our staff when it came to proofing the myriad of new/revised courses we pushed out the first half of this year - including the well-received Diablo 3 course as well as the Lightsaber Basics course authored by his fellow Magistrate, Mirus. He also offered valuable feedback and opinions on various Shadow Academy projects and policies that came out during his time on the staff.

Alishu did all of this because he wanted to make the DB better, not because he was trying to look for a shiny or a promotion. That, to me, shows exactly the kind of attitude any leader in this club should have - the selfless determination to make the club better. Thank you for six months of excellent service, Alishu, and I am truly sorry it's taken me this long to get this to you.

-Farrin, Headmaster/Marcus, Praetor to the Headmaster/Ood, Special Magistrate to the Headmaster
