2) Astatine no longer wants the Dark Council to initiate his Project Thallium because we would get credit for it.
3) Adding IWATS stuff to your profiles is NOT a priority of mine. It is more of an annoyance. There are more important things to do ...really. Oh... I'll get to them, but this is definitely not something I care to process ASAP. heh
4) Congratulations to Hades, Knight Camile, and Khaen on their appointments.
*The survey I conducted on "fun" let me know how people prefer to conduct themselves on a public forum. People would rather complain, have arguments, and in general, not reply to a question of large importance to them. I have compiled the answers the very FEW of you e-mailed me. Obviously the people that actually *said something will be the ones we listen to. No, I won't post the general consensus in an open forum since I can only expect the same 46 comments will ensue with complaining because their ideas weren't represented. You had you chance. Of course, this isn't a final deadline or anything. If you want to actually be serious, you may continue to give feedback. I encourage you to look at the recent resignations, alienations, intimidation, and psychological torment you might have seen via open forums lately. Most people are rather oblivious to what goes on at the higher levels. If anyone knew FA Brad, you knew this was entirely uncharacteristic of one of most respected Fleet Admirals of roughly 5 to 6 years ago. The loss of Brad is a serious blow to the EH, and I ask all of you to ponder his resignation letter. I myself, have felt rather alienated recently and openly admit it. If anyone knows me as Galthain QUA, this is also extremely uncharacteristic of me as brother Pyralis or me as an EH officer. This is also something to ponder in your own spare time.
**1) For the interim, I have decided to focus all of my attention on perfect the Apprentice system in the Dark Brotherhood. Gelton, Anshar, and a handful of other people, including Khaen, have expressed not only an interest, but an initiative to improve the current system of contact and fairness. Facets of this include and are NOT limited to:
More initial contact to Apprentices regarding what they have to do.
Revision of the current system to allow a better understanding with a greater ease (without oversimpliciation) in completing the training process.
More responsibility for current Phase One and Phase Two Eclectic Pedagogs (EPs).
2) Courses will NOT be removed from the Shadow Academy's catalog. Some Eclectic Pedagogs have expressed an interest in changing their course while others have remained quite silent on the whole issue. Instead of destroying facets of the SA, I've decided to instead expand only in the directions that help the Brotherhood the most. As far as I know, there are currently THREE courses in development.
3) I have decided to open up applications for a Praetor. The primary responsibilities of the Praetor will be to maintain my sanity by doing whatever I ask him or her to do. It is suggested that you fit the following loosely compiled guidelines:
You are a mature person - preferably one with some life experiences.
You have a recent track record of dedicated service.
You have a reasonable amount of experience with the workings of the Emperor's Hammer as a whole.
You have patience in dealing with arbitrary, monotonous work that I may occasionally throw at you.
In contrast, you have the ability to think critically and carry on a mature conversation with me about various SA and DB things.
If you DARE send me an application copying and pasting this and saying "I'm qualified!," I will not only ignore you, but I will hunt you down and slit your throat. If you really ARE mature, you know how to write an application and sell yourself to the position of P:HM.
