Just a couple of quick things to announce, one really affecting the bulk of the DB so I will begin with that one. If you were to read the Codex and look at the descriptions of the Crescents (go here to follow along at home) you will see a point that has been overlooked for quite some time. Under Awarded for is states "If a competition has three or less participants, the level of the competition will automatically be raised by one". As I said before, it has been overlooked by most of the past MAAs, but not any longer. I have seen a large trend at throwing out competitions haphazardly, without taking the time to ensure people also participate and eventually getting one or two people participating. As such, if there aren't at least 3 participants, the Crescent level will rise. If it was 3rd Level, you would instead award 4th Level. The only odd one is the 5th Level Crescent. In this case the "top" award drops one, making it a Topaz instead of an Emerald Crescent.

The other announcement is just a reminder. The competition to help name the upgrades for the Grand Cross and Dark Cross is still ongoing. It's a simple and easy competition with the chance of having your names used throughout the Dark Brotherhood. You can find the details to the competition here.
