Well, the title is sort of true. It suppose it is time for a little explanation on my part. But first, let me congratulate our membership. I know you all have busy lives, but we still got a decent little group of people participating in our recent House event, Operation: HOMELAND. I hope all the folks who were able to join in on this little event-lite enjoyed themselves. Darkblade and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the fiction entries, and we hope to have a closing fiction out fairly shortly.

Now, we do have a Feud coming up against Clan Scholae Palatinae soon, so I hope that House Shar Dakhan can bring even more energy to table in about two weeks when that begins. Historically I have always been pleased by the activity generated by our House. If anybody needs someone to game with, a person to grade fiction, or what not I can assure you that we will be on the front lines with everybody else. So don’t be afraid to ask for help. I fancy myself a decent chap and Darkblade doesn’t bite (very often).

I fear that I am starting to grow a little long winded, so I should probably hop into the usually meat and potatoes of my report. There is a nice little bit to talk about. Oh, before I forget I want to once again thank Aul Celsus for his time with us and again wish him the best of luck in leading Shadow's Bane in our sister House of Marka Ragnos! I hope he finds the position everything he hopes it to be, and that he makes us all even more proud than we already are.

Competitions

For the gamers of our House, there is the Jedi Academy May Menagerie being run by Blade Ta'var. I know I will be playing when I am able, so watch for an announcement in Telegram about potential FFAs forming. Lots of fun to be had! Turel Soreenn is running two events, one for creating a meme about Drac and another for designing a "DJB Magic card". You can also help transcribe the Commandments of Pravus, or describe a bit about your characters journey to their current path. If you haven't had your fill of the Dominion yet, Locke and the upper Summit are running Aftermath, a run-on following on the heels of Operation:Firestorm and proceeding the events of Operation: Homeland which I hope you are already participating in. You can also indulge in a little fantasy in Pursuit of Power by creating an art piece depicting a potential appointment as Grand Master. (yes I have a thing in mind I am playing around with) Be sure to check out the Monthly Gaming competition and the rest of the fun that can be found on the full competition listing found here. I know I always find something new and/or challenging on the competitions page, so I invite members new and old alike to check it out!

• The Fist will be holding a Gaming Tournament. Among the challengers? Well to my surprise, it appears I have been elected to represent Shar Dakhan and Naga Sadow alongside Tasha’vel of Marka Ragnos. There is also some info about PVO caps being instated, so I would suggest checking it out.

• We are all celebrating (or have celebrated) May the Fourth, Star Wars Day! I hope you have already taken advantage of the offers and opportunities available!
