July Report: Champions of Ambria

Greetings Disciples. We’ve had one heck of an adventure. House Shar Dakhan started the new cycle with some rough tragedies but our future is looking much brighter as of late. The Discovery event is over for now and as a result of our hard work we’ve been able to collect a few goodies and establish a hidden outpost. Who knows, maybe we’ll return in the near future?

I’d like to thank my partner in crime Xuner Holst for helping to create this event as well as our participants Calenhad, Darkhawk, Etah, Marcus, Jinius, and Vosiri. Tasha and Bentre also snuck into the comps to play a little Star Conflict. You guys rock! I can’t thank all of you enough for helping to make this a really fun event. For those of you who couldn’t join in… well... I get it. You don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere, am I right?

The Great Exodus:

As you may have noticed we’ve lost a lot of members in the past month due to inactivity so I thought it best to address the situation. A surge of new members found their way to our BT and I was very excited to work with such a big group. Unfortunately a large portion of these recruits went inactive within weeks of joining and are now amongst the rogues despite efforts to contact each one. As frustrating as it has been I kept reminding myself of these wise words:

“Hey, hey, hey — don't be mean. We don't have to be mean. 'Cause, remember: no matter where you go... there you are.” -Buckaroo Banzai

Alright so it’s not that great of a quote but you get the point. Let’s move on team.

Get Out There and Have Fun:

We are over half way through 2018 now. We’ve had our ups and downs but one thing's for certain. I’m proud of you folks and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish in the rest of 2018.
