Tarentum!

First, this week was rough. I intended to have this report out Monday; needless to say, I am late. For that, you have my sincere apologies. I hate being late.

Secondly, there is a possible competition opportunity, as rumor may be circulating. If you read the other Clan Reports along with ours, you may have witnessed that something is brewing with Plagueis. I'm not going to get into detail; that's Farrin's realm. I will say, however, that I'm excited about the opportunity to build up another alliance and possible rivalry. If you've been in the Club long enough, you know we're steadfast allies with Arcona, and will stand with them through anything; and have many times in the past, in fact.

As we move towards this upcoming competition, please be ready to be involved, and be an active participant. We want to remember just how creative and involved we can be, and we want to show off our abilities to Plagueis. And to the rest of the Brotherhood, in fact.

Star Wars Tidings

Who isn't excited for the movie to be here in December? In preparation for this, there's also some really cool books and games that are being put out. Personally, I play ToR; I'm excited for Knights of the Fallen Empire. I've also been reading Aftermath. While I can say not everyone will enjoy it, there are plenty of nods to the EU, and some happenings that draw on Rebels, and are preparing us all for what lies ahead. Believe it or not, this is a great time to be a Star Wars fan.

If you've been playing Uprising, good for you! I've recently started; I'm taking it rather slowly, as I have limited time lately (some of you may have met my wonderful wife on Telegram, on those random occasions that she steals my phone, or gets on to chat from the home computer). She and I are expecting Baby Beef 2 this December, pretty close to when the movie comes out. Needless to say, I'm trying to work as much overtime as I can to save up and prepare for when our second boy child comes into the world. My son is a handful; our second boy is proving that he might be just as wild and crazy, if not more so.

Galaxy of Heroes is in the wings; though we know not when. Check it out, though; use your Google Fu.

Awards and Promotions -- Opportunities

Ladies and gents. Previously, I was planning to make mention of the awards that have been earned thus far since June 1. I've decided against it. Instead, I'd rather make sure everyone is actually aware of how to get promoted past DJK -- or, now Knight, as the old ranks and acronyms no longer apply. For our newest members, Frosty does a great job of helping them see their way through each rank, and even to a mentor. For those of you at or above Knight, why don't you be one of those mentors? Shoot Frosty an email, tell him you want to help.

Check out the Competitions Page, and get involved in DB-wide comps. Earn Clusters, Crescents and Credits; oh my! This activity will help towards advancement.

Email Meleu. As our resident Wiki expert, Meleu can help you track down project pages to create or update. We need to make sure our content is accurate, helpful and pertinent to ourselves, and all of the Brotherhood. One of the big things we want to do is have a character Wiki for every member of Tarentum. Let's get yours done!

To Wrap It Up

We are in an exciting time, as we have Star Wars Rebels to reach the next generations of fans. New books are on the horizon. And, an amazing movie that promises to astound and inspire! Battlefront is on the way; our FIST Valhavoc is regularly giving us reminders and gaming news, so make sure to check the website regularly. The VOICE of the Brotherhood, Evant, is a former Tarenti and a wonderful author, and I'm looking forward to what he's cooking up with the GM and DGM. This is the time for each of you to become the pillars of Tarentum, and the legends of the Clan.

Get involved, get a hold of us, and let's get each of you active. Let's make a goal to unravel those metrics of Pravus that haven't seen new joins to Elder in a while, and get some of our faithful from the last few years up on that board, shall we?
