Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Nithyr Thal has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Nithyr Thal's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Nithyr Thal's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.

Nithyr Thal is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing her duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in her decision making. She sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.

Nithyr Thal is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Nithyr Thal is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Nithyr Thal is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. She tries to help everyone she can, even at her own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.

Nithyr Thal vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that she has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.

Without the gift of the Force, Nithyr Thal has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Nithyr Thal has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes her lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
