When Zal Taj does things, she makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Zal Taj's work, but it's usually done right, at least.

Zal Taj sees herself as the control subject in the science experiment called life. Often labeled as "boring" and "predictable", Zal Taj keeps her wild and experimental side reserved for pet projects. This boring lifestyle leads to her being considered anti-social and when she does join others, instead of relaxing she prefers to keep quiet and observe.

Zal Taj doesn't like conflict; so she tries to avoid it whenever possible, both in terms of combat, and interpersonal relations.

Zal Taj is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Zal Taj to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Zal Taj can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.

While Zal Taj avoids combat whenever possible, she has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Zal Taj has trained herself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Zal Taj almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

When Zal Taj gets in trouble, she finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that she tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for her compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made her the most popular among her peers, but hey, at least Zal Taj isn't dead yet.
