A towering, mostly bald Chiss, Stres'trong'armis is extremely wide and muscular. As is usual with his race, his one lock of curls above his forehead is black in color, and his eyes a deep red. His skin is a blue, not too dark nor too light. With a proud demeanor that speaks of an aristocratic origin, the one known as 'Strong' presents himself with dignity. He keeps his head held high, and his shoulders squared. His massive, thick arms end in fists as big around as many a man's head, the knuckles showing scars that speak of a decidedly different life.
Raised in a strict household on the tenants of honor and resilience, Stres’trong’armis finds it very difficult to lie or involve himself in acts that may be considered unworthy by his personal code. As most Chiss Houses of nobility, the Garmis family was heavily martial in nature, lending to the credo that he lives by as well as teaching him many of the skills needed to survive in the world.
As a noble son of a well-respected and long-standing Chiss House, Stres’trong’armis takes great pride in his heritage and the accomplishments of its storied history. He often finds reason to reference the traditions and beliefs of his House and will speak of them with great gusto and self-certainty. While this gives him confidence and has armed him well for upper society, this tendency does grate on other’s nerves.
No matter a person’s station, heredity or species, Stres’trong’armis is polite and respectful to all that he meets. He also feels that such behavior should be both reciprocated and emulated, and has been known to lecture those who he believes are being disrespectful. While his patience may have limits, he will not stoop to insults, and there are actions he will not sit by and watch. Coming from a very old-fashioned family, he is particularly intolerant of crude or violent actions towards females, or those he believes to be female. This does not endear him with the underworld, and has found him in unreasonable situations.
Those who know Stres’trong’armis will tell you bluntly that he’s a larger than life type of person, on top of being physically massive. He speaks loudly and gestures gratuitously, much to the chagrin of those around him. It has been shown time and again that he is incapable of whispering, his attempts bringing his decibels down to a level akin to a swarm of angry insects in your ear. This does not lend him to stealth operations, as it tends to make him the center of attention.
If Stres’trong’armis is honest to a fault in social situations, he may be even more so in a fight. The Chiss disdains underhanded tricks and will refuse to take advantage of his opponent should they be debilitated. This goes so far as to allow a downed foe to stand back up should they stumble, or should something cause them some form of physical ailment. He will go out of his way to be both respectful and honorable in a fight, and will happily share medical supplies should a fight end amicably. This can lead to his opponents to taking advantage of his honorable nature, but even in this, there will be limits.
With an upbringing of military tradition and training, Stres’trong’armis learned early how to exchange blows as well as grappling and submission holds. As he grew bigger, and stronger, he learned to incorporate his bulk and reach into his combat style. A mixture of Broken Gate and the Wookiee’s Wrruushi styles have served him well enough, though his fall back to relying on these forms puts him at a disadvantage against quicker opponents or those wielding lightsabers. If possible, he will subdue an enemy through holds or knockout, but will almost never go for the kill.
