Appearance
Tall and very fit, V'yr Vorsa's physique is powerful, feminine, and makes her an imposing presence in any room. Vorsa's eyes are golden with a fiery accent. They can be equally filled with caring, compassion, and love as well as determination, bitterness or resentment. However, while she does appear Near-human, her uniqueness is revealed in her hair and skin. Vines, branches, and leaves that form most of her hair are always in motion, like a living creature hanging from her head. They react to her environment and her emotional state, depending on the situation, as much as her facial expressions do. The leaves wither and fall off if she is in cold or harsh weather, sad, under emotional stress, or otherwise emotionally compromised, and flowers often bloom when she is warm, happy, at ease, or relaxed.
Attire
Vorsa usually wears comfortable clothes - to her, at least - that don't restrict her movement and breathe easily. She almost always wears her custom-built, ocher-colored, plastoid armor when in combat. The armor has her General rank insignia engraved into its left breastplate. When undercover she prefers to wear less conspicuous clothing, so as not to stand out in a crowd.
At heart, V'yr Vorsa is a teacher who takes Jedi philosophy to heart when she educates the students at the Jedi Praxeum. She believes that the Jedi order must strive to maintain balance in the Force and fight for freedom and justice in the galaxy, so she is intent on passing on her knowledge in all its depth. Teaching is a great joy for her, she embraces the fulfillment it offers and gives freely her centuries of wisdom and knowledge to those willing to defend the defenseless and help the helpless. However, her insight into the Force and her focus on the larger picture have left her blind to the troubles of the "common man" and common issues ordinary people face every day — especially short-lived species — often confound her and seem insignificant next to the galaxy's many and terrible woes.
V'yr Vorsa follows the Jedi Code, as she interprets it, as her guiding light. Liberating the oppressed, protecting the defenseless, fighting for freedom, and bringing oppressors to justice are her ideals and she sees them as moral and ethical obligations of those who hold true power. However, she is limited in action or inaction by her own beliefs and what she perceives is right, as well as the virtues she is sworn to uphold: the right of every living being to life, freedom, and happiness, virtues she has sworn never to betray. History, however, has proven her wrong and she has broken that oath many times and will do so many times over. Her mission is one that will lead her to break her own beliefs and shake her own resolve for the greater good of all.
V'yr Vorsa seems to maintain an aura of formality about her that many of her compatriots take kindly to. Ever the polite and motherly figure towards those she considers worthy of respect, she is oftentimes seen bowing even to her students and those considered of lesser status than her. While this may seem shameful to many people from higher classes, to those of lower birth it is a sure sign that the Neti considers them her equals. As a stark contrast, towards the Sith, in particular, she is ruthless and unforgiving. No politeness is shown, no courtesy extended. Though she would rather spare an enemy, show mercy, and offer them a fair trial, she is also fully aware that, as much as it pains her, it is not always possible to resolve a conflict without bloodshed.
V'yr Vorsa walks with an ethereal grace that makes her seem otherworldly to other mortal species. Even though she is only four centuries old, life has given her unparalleled focus, balance of character, and wisdom that never ceases to surprise her peers. She is often the one others turn to for guidance and leadership in dire need, always at the tip of the spear in war or the voice of reason in the Council chamber. A paragon of Ashla, she is a fixed point in space and time people can cling to in dire situations. As such, she is often unable to find solace in anyone but herself because she must maintain her resolve lest others falter because of her. She finds comfort in her family, in meditation, and in the Force, but sometimes even those are not enough to console her.
On the field of battle, V'yr Vorsa is like a powerful hurricane, at peace and tranquil within while her body lashes out like thunderclouds. But just like a hurricane, she is slow to move, rarely doing anything without forethought or patience. Enemies find her to be firmly rooted, hard to move from a spot she has chosen to make her stand on, and particularly hard to manipulate into a disadvantageous position. This quality turns into a disadvantage at home when friends and family find her just as rooted and unmoving in matters concerning her mission and the Jedi Code. It creates a volatile mixture that she has to face and balance every day lest it destroy what she cares for most.
Usually considered a volatile form in most Jedi circles, V'yr Vorsa's Vapaad is akin to a fast-running stream or a river that washes away the overwhelming feelings of anger, aggression, and rage, leaving only tranquility and an inner peace that grants her clarity in combat. But, even with her unparalleled focus and many years of expertise, things can always go awry in the heat of battle. When she is in a perpetual battle with herself, often fighting on two fronts at once, it becomes hard to focus and she begins to lose her step. It can be extremely draining, especially in very hostile environments, and may eventually lead her to an early grave.
