Outside of their ceremonial armor, the Royal Guardsman posses no defining traits or features and have undergone cosmetic surgery to look interchangeable with one another. Their plain looking faces bear the same square nose, strong jawline, and flat eyes. They keep their heads smoothly shaved and do not have any facial hair. The Guardsman's skin is pale from spending so much time inside of their ceremonial armor, but still maintains a healthy glow of vitality thanks to their hardened athletic frames. Their powerful legs, arms, and shoulders are supported by ropes of iron-corded muscle with little in the way of body fat. Any scars they Guardsman had in their former lives have been surgically removed.
Reaver Royal Guardsman has not created any public loadouts yet.
The Grand Master’s Royal Guard are made up of seven specially trained Guardsman that are hand-chosen by each sitting Grand Master. They are permanently stationed in the Throne Room found in the Dark Asecent of Arx, but also accompany the Grand Master when traveling across the Brotherhood’s homeworld. These seven Guardsman remain in their positions for as long as they are able to serve up to the Grand Master’s standards of combat prowess. Only the Grand Master can remove and replace them from their position.
Royal Guardsman sees himself as the control subject in the science experiment called life. Often labeled as "boring" and "predictable", Royal Guardsman keeps his wild and experimental side reserved for pet projects. This boring lifestyle leads to him being considered anti-social and when he does join others, instead of relaxing he prefers to keep quiet and observe.
Royal Guardsman is loyal to the Grand Master of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. They have no ties to any of the independent clans or organizations within the Brotherhood. They are devoted fully to their duty and take pride in their martial prowess and the respect of their service. While this almost zealous loyalty makes Royal Guardsman the ideal bodyguard, it leaves them lacking for any singular identity to call their own.
Royal Guardsman is an agent of the Fist of the Brotherhood, but still remains loyal to the Grand Master alone. In their capacity as an Unchanging Guardsman, they take orders and direction from the Fist of the Brotherhood. However, if the Fist ordered the Guardsman to lift a hand towards the Grand Master, they would unequivocally refuse. This gives Royal Guardsman a certain kind of prestige that can lead to jealousy among other servants of the throne, and creates a unique relationship between whoever serves as Fist of the Brotherhood.
Without the gift of the Force, Royal Guardsman has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Royal Guardsman has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Royal Guardsman has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Royal Guardsman is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
