Standing only a little taller than the typical Zygerrian female, Zyft’s full and immaculately maintained red fur graces a lean, nimble form that suggests she spends more time behind a desk than a sword. The tip of her left ear is missing, having been torn away in some accident, and mars an otherwise flawless feline face. Her eyes shine a bright, almost metallic gold and her voice carries an aristocratic lilt toned only by a slow, measured delivery.
Eminent Zyft Yadar has not created any public loadouts yet.
Zyft Yadar came to Tenixir Supermax Prison on the charge of slave trading in Principate-controlled territories. She vehemently denies this charge and resents it as a stereotype of her race that she has worked years to counter with a legitimate career. Her arrest came days after a breakthrough on one of her most top-secret assignments – a client by the name of Avitus Oligard. Immediately upon Zyft’s arrival at Tenixir, she was placed in isolation on Cellblock Dorn. Given the confidential nature of her assignment, Zyft suspects either Rath Oligard or Avitus himself to be behind her arrest, though she remains suspicious of their choice not to have her killed outright. In either case, Zyft has vowed a slow, painful vengeance for her accuser.
Zyft Yadar began her early career as a field medic for the Collective, but her skill and intellect quickly began opening doors for the young Zygerrian to train as a physician. Focusing her studies on her own interests – a combination of neuroscience and psychiatry – the doctor soon became renowned for her skill throughout the Collective. After a stint with the Technocratic Guild, Zyft Yadar found herself swept into a number of the Collective’s more classified programs, where she enjoyed the freedom to pursue the more “experimental” therapies she had been developing. Unfortunately, the intense and classified nature of her work meant no one asked questions when the good doctor disappeared.
In the matter of Avitus Oligard, Zyft has found an anomaly in her typical view of patients. While quite accustomed to dealing with transference toward her, the doctor has found herself compelled by Avitus’ particular maladies. In her efforts to ease the man’s self-identified torment, Zyft instead determined what she believed to be his true tormenter – his cherished cousin. Her anger toward the man on Avitus’ behalf surprised her, at first, but her imprisonment has only solidified it. If Avitus is responsible, she believes Rath must still have something to do with it.
Far from a noble altruist in her clinical pursuits, Zyft Yadar typically views her patients as little more than experiments or playthings. Her lack of true empathy, however, has not prevented her from presenting a positively warm and lovely bedside manner. Zyft has found this both of political and practical use to encourage the level of trust required for her patients to voluntarily undergo her experimental treatments.
Regrettably, this has at times caused patients to become a little too comfortable with the doctor.
When pressed into physical combat, Zyft is fond of unconventional weapons and is known to be quite capable without a garrote or even a scalpel in close quarters. At range, she is comfortable with a blaster but prefers weapons that allow her to utilize her vast knowledge of poisons and toxins.
Zyft Yadar will battle with her wits and her ability to manipulate circumstances and the people around her before she will bother with physical combat, finding the former both more effective and more satisfying. Zyft plans her vengeance methodically and is patient enough to play the long game to ensure her enemies are without recourse when she decides to strike.
