Keylar is a tall with a mild muscular physique with an hourglass figure. She has blue eyes and blond hair done in a ponytail, while the left side of her head has been all braided. Her face is devoid of wrinkles and remains pasty white and fresh. Her makeup can be described as light, with her light brown eyebrows as slightly drawn and pointed at the ends. Her nails are short, but painted light pink, along with a pink hued lipstick for her mouth.
Keylar grew up in a strict religious household. Her parents believed in an ancient, all powerful deity that controlled time and space. She carries these beliefs with her, referencing them from time to time. To some, it shows her conviction and dedication to a cause. Others may come to see her as too rigid and see an inability to respect other belief systems viewed in equal manner.
Keylar wishes her first assignment was different. She thought she would be serving on capital ships and in artillery divisions. Instead she’s been assigned to serve as the main pilot aboard the Starcaller, Dek Iron’yikut’s personal ship. She harbors some anger towards her superiors, and a lot of annoyance towards Dek, leading to frequent conflict between them. Sometimes it gets in the way of the mission.
Sarcasm is second nature to Keylar. She uses it frequently as a coping mechanism to dealing with unsatisfactory results or expected failures. It can be confusing when she is really genuine or not, meaning she can’t find attachments easily.
Although she struggles to live this way because of her career, she really tries to live life to the fullest. She frequently imagines what life would have been like if she hand changed paths when she was younger. Some of that comes to her reality, when she has to face down situations that interrupt a serene situation. She’s easily agitated when she’s relaxing, and may lash out at those who desecrate her private time.
Being on a capital ship or cockpit is where Keylar would rather be. When it comes to landing on a planet and venturing off, Keylar feels weak, and a longing to protect her ship. She prefers wholeheartedly to stay close to her piloted vessel. Thus, when closer to the ship she’ll fight with enhanced rigor. When distant from a ship, she’ll become worrisome, which would interfere in her combat.
As a spacer, Keylar would rather be in a cockpit or capital ship turret than anywhere else. But if she must fight with blasters or hand to hand, she knows how to. She finds it a lot easier to do such things in space, with the options for lower levels of gravity. Therefore, in space she fights a lot better in hand to hand combat. However, when she has to fight on a planet, especially one with stronger gravity, she finds it to be more difficult to pull off some of the athletic moves and strikes that she normally would.
