Welcome to my report. There's been a lot of awards lately. We also have some new things coming up that we think you guys are going to love. Onward!

There are a multitude of competitions currently running, both for the Clan and the DJB as a whole. I'll be briefly discussing these further on in my report. Be sure to get out there and participate, we've had a lot of good participation in these lately and we should keep it up! We've also been receiving a lot of emails of awards for playing TOR and TOR-related completion medals. Keep it up, TOR's a great way to represent our Clan among the rest of the 'Brotherhood and also do something fun together.

Right now, our current official Clan Run-on, Worldwreckers, is still going. You can gain a Cluster of Ice for every 250 word or more post you make in it. Not sure how to get involved? Shoot one of us an email or ask on the google group and we'll help you out.

We are also very excited to announce an impending event with our allies in Independent House Taldryan entitled "Alliance of Steel." This event will include unique competitions where we can work with members of Taldryan. It's shaping up to be something pretty cool. We're shooting for a start time around early February, so keep an eye on the mailing list for further information on this.

Finally, the Summit has been collectively working on the fictional direction of the Clan. This also includes what each House's specialty is and what our main goals are. Once this is finished, it will allow us to release more meaningful competitions. It will also allow for added depth to our fictional side and characters.

Right now, much of the 'Brotherhood is focusing on TOR, which isn't surprising. Be sure to check out the Fist's recent report and anything else coming out of the Fist's office to make sure you stay up to date on what's going on with TOR. For instance, Araxis, the Praetor to the Fist, recently announced a change in the way Cluster of Fire requests are submitted for the game. See his news update on the main page for details.

The Voice and Wiki Tribune have also put out reports, which can be found on the main page. Check out the Voice's report for some well-written fictional background on the Dark Brotherhood, beginning during the days of the Old Republic.

This is an awesome level of activity and I'd love to see you guys match or even top it next month. Keep it up!

At the moment, we have six competitions running at the Clan level. There are also some running for the entire DJB and for our individual Houses. I'll break these up into sections, starting with ones for the entire 'Brotherhood. Remember to read the instructions for each competition carefully, and stick to the Rites of Combat for all gaming competitions.

First up we have ‘Brotherhood-wide competitions:

Ancestor Lore : In this competition, you get to write about one of your ancestors from around the time of The Old Republic. This is a great way to connect your TOR and DJB characters. You can also participate even if you don’t have a TOR character, so have fun!

[Voice] Choices : This is a writing competition that challenges you to describe a pivotal moment in your character's life.

Ultimate TOR Getup : This is a pretty straightforward TOR-related competition. Take an awesome screenshot of your character. This is pretty similar to the TOR Portrait competition, except this one is for the entire 'Brotherhood, while that one is only for our Clan.

#db trivia : These next two are competitions that are DJB-wide, but run throughout the year at different times. This is one is DJB-related trivia that will be held on Saturday nights.

Find My Lyrics! : This is a competition put out by another unit's Quaestor. Even though their unit is separate from ours, anyone can enter this competition, and his reports appear on the front page. Click the link for details.

[FIST] Halo-a-thon : The first of three gaming competitions put out by our Fist, this one is fairly straightforward: Play matches of any Halo game, and whoever wins the most wins this competition.

[FIST] Special Gaming Event: Assassin's Creed Revelations :This one is very similar to the Halo one, but for a different game.

[FIST] End of the Year Gaming 2 :This is an overarching competition for the entire year. At the end of the year, the Fist will tally up who has the most wins across all gaming platforms, and the top four will be awarded. This is something to keep in mind when it comes to gaming.

Next up are Clan-level competitions:

[CNS] Companion : This is a competition where you can describe a companion of your character's.

[CNS] Family Photo: In this competition, all you have to do is get together with a bunch of your TOR friends and take a big screenshot with all of you in it.

Doom Train 3 : As in the previous two months, our Rollmaster will be tracking every activity you do in the Brotherhood and the most active members at the end of the month will be awarded. Make sure you cc Teu at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with everything you submit to make sure she is aware you participated in it so you can receive credit.

Worldwreckers Part two : Continuing from last month, you receive a Cluster of Ice for every two posts of 250 words or more that you make in our Worldwreckers Run-on.

TOR Portrait: Nasty Darksiders : This is the Clan competition that is similar to the Ultimate TOR Getup competition. They have very similar premises, but this one is just against the fellow members of your clan.

Remember to check with your Quaestors, as they may have competitions running specifically for your House. Also, new competitions are released all the time, so keep an eye on the competition page at: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competitions.php. As long as you are logged in, you can click "Stuff that matters to me" at the top for a list of competitions you are able to enter.
