Hi all! Welcome to the Scholae Palatinae Consul Report for the month of September 2018. Some big news coming in this one, from an upcoming Rite of Supremacy, current events, an update on the clan military, and a Dark Paladin announcement!

Rite of Supremacy

As I'm sure you've all heard, there's a Rite of Supremacy (RoS) coming up soon! The RoS is one of the biggest competitions the club has to offer, behind the Great Jedi War. The Rite of Supremacy will begin on the 13th of October and span 5 weeks, containing competitions for every area of the club. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone can do!

The potential reward for a high level of participation in these kind of events is huge. It would be great to see everyone performing at their best for it. I'd like to recommend everyone take the next few days to get everything in order for the event. If you're a fiction writer, is your character sheet up to date? Do you have any NPCs to create? Are there any upgrades you want to make to your character's gear? Are there any questions you have about the overarching DB plot and how that relates to clan level stuff? As a reminder, Collective Forces allied with The Meraxis Empire, our main enemies in our home system, assassinated Proconsul Raiju Kang and stopped us from expanding our territory.

For the next week we have the following competition, DB wide, hosted by our very own Shadow and Jorm!

On the world of Seraph, deep in the Caperion System, the curtain is falling on the season of Summer. Hot days and warm evenings will soon give way to chilly nights and inclement weather as Fall marches towards Winter. Yet, before the sun sets on Fall, the people of Seraph celebrate the world’s cycle of renewal in a celebration of life - and death - with a festival. The Empress of Scholae Palatinae, Elincia Rei , has opened the borders of her territory - in a gesture of good will - to invite all denizens of the Caperion System to join the festival. The streets will be filled with costumed people, lively music, and elaborate decorations in honor of Halloween Horror Nights. Grab a friend, try several new things, and - most importantly - have fun! This is your chance to earn some awards (aka Shinies!) and embrace the holiday spirit.

Imperial Scholae Intelligence

Clan Military Work

You probably saw a pinned post in Telegram recently about aspect writers wanted for our clan forces. Jorm, Kadrol, Bale and Derek answered the call and we've been working together on building a coherent image for our clan forces. This has resulted in the creation of 13 new cosmetic aspects and many new images (still making some) to apply to every single item in the clan's military, from the armour worn by our basic line infantry to the paint jobs on our Star Destroyers. This has been a fantastic effort by everyone involved. In general, we've gone with a colour scheme of largely black and white, tried to maintain a classic imperial feel with a monochrome scheme but liven it up a bit with some extra elements. Our starfighters will have the blackout aspect, masking them against the background of space. Shuttles will be mostly black with some white trim. Troops will be standard stormtroopers, while special forces will have their armour recoloured to match the expected backdrop.

The Venator, Vader, was destroyed by collective forces... only to be replaced by the Vader's Vengeance:

The Acclamator, the Amedda, is no stranger to heavy fire, and is our main vector for getting boots on the ground:

Smaller ships help too, here's a blacked out LAAT/i sporting a CSP logo:

The Thrawn, a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, flies in front of the destroyed moon, Xejtrok.

These should be applied to the actual possessions items over the next couple of days! Most of the ships already have been. We hope that this will add some material to use when writing about our military in the upcoming event.

Dark Paladin

As September marks the end of Q3 2018, it's time to award the title of Dark Paladin! Dark Paladin is the clan's 'member of the quarter' award, awarded by a discussion among active recipients of the Palpatine title. It's my pleasure to announce Xantros as the Dark Paladin of Q3. Xantros has been consistently active throughout this period, participating in many competitions, hosting a few of his own, and always been there on Telegram. Xantros is a fantastic example of the kind of lead a Paladin should be setting to the clan.

Kadrol asks: can you tell everyone to cheer for the Verona Area High School Wildcats in the state playoffs.

Shadow asks: As empress, if you had a throne room, what color scheme would the decor be?
Elincia: She'd go pretty much the same as Palpatine's throne room, athentic with a side of intimidation

Xantros asks: Will you buy an ISD-II and let me have it to turn it into a mobile Imperial Media Center a.k.a. Imperial Propaganda Center?
Elincia: Cough up at least 1% of the funds from your personal finances and I'll consider it (That'll be 2.25 million)

Aylin asks: What halloween costume should Aylin wear? Elincia: Aylin should come dressed as a Zora from Ocarina of Time!

Mark asks: What tactic would Eli use if she were a manager? Elincia: Eli would be one of those managers that digs up some old formation from the depths of hell and makes it work, like those guys playing 3 at the back nowadays
