Most of you have known me for some time, either as A'lora Kituri or Morotheri Mithfaron. I've served in this Summit in consecutive terms as both Rollmaster and Aedile under all of our former Quaestors. Under their leadership, I have seen our heights and falls. Meanwhile, I have witnessed the steady growth we have shown in our transition from a foreign concept to an established component of the Brotherhood as it stands now. This has given me the tools needed to see Clan Odan-Urr rise as a formidable guard against the dark. From this point onward, we’re no longer the underdogs of the Brotherhood; the ball is in our court. Let’s show the Sith what we can do!
I won’t repeat what was already mentioned on the mailing list, as there is more than enough content to cover in this report. Since my appointment to Consul, I have held open votes and nominations for House names and Clan titles. Now closed, the Summit is working through the nominations for the Clan titles and will be soon naming those members that have dedicated their time and leadership to Odan-Urr, being paragons in the Clan. Our leadership was recently restructured, passing on the duties of the Rollmaster to the House-level leadership in order to open up the Rollmaster as a new administrative position. Nathan and Echo-1 have switched places as part of these adjustments, being appointed Rollmaster and Proconsul, respectively.
In the last four months, I have worked with the leadership of Odan-Urr in an advisory role. This allowed me to work on various projects that have previously been scrapped or archived for future revisement. Hours before being granted this appointment, the largest of these ideas were hammered out to their full extent, bringing with them the framework that we will use to bring this Clan to the pinnacle of its greatness. The former and current leadership provided tremendous amounts of effort to help me see these through to completion. In this report, you will only glimpse a taste of what we have in store.
Votes have been tallied, and our House names have been chosen. I was surprised by the positive feedback and interest that was gathered from having such a transparent process towards the naming of our Houses. Such interest is what makes me believe that Clan Odan-Urr is filled with those who want to see us succeed. You are the reason that Odan-Urr has moved forward through the years. Therefore, I believe that we should all have an equal voice in such a monumental decision.
To fill the leadership of these new positions that have just become available, I have already asked our members to submit their applications for the roles of Quaestor, Aedile and Battle Team Leader. With so much interest in these positions, it was difficult to fill these gaps between so many dedicated individuals. I would like to thank all those who put in the effort to raise a hand.
Our winner by a substantial margin, Satele Shan was voted as our favorite name for a House. In the end, we decided that the Battle Teams, Strike Team Ooroo and the Disciples of Baas would form the sub-units within this House. I would like to congratulate Ji as our first Quaestor to this appointment, with Solari serving as his Aedile. Forming the new leadership of Strike Team Ooroo, JScumm has been selected along with Mar Sùl remaining as the Battle Team Leader of the Disciples of Baas. Mar Sùl will also be developing something really unique through the coming months, so stay tuned!
Second in votes to House Hoth. House Hoth has also surpassed the other selections in a majority. The Knights of Allusis will form the Battle Team for this House. I would like to congratulate Seraphol as the first Quaestor of House Hoth, with Revak as his Aedile. Taking over management of the Knights of Allusis, Salbecca will serve as the new Battle Team Leader.
Working alongside Echo-1 (or Vyr, as you may know him) to bring something fresh and unique to our Clan, we have completed work on a long list of projects and ideas that will remain as our focus for activity moving forward. One such project is the Tales of New Tython series of events. The first of these events will soon be available with the release of the Proconsul Report, on the 15th of March.
Following one of our planned storylines for the near future, it will detail hints towards old prophecies coming to fruition. Stories will be uncovered and Harakoan myths will hold truth. Participate in these events for a chance to contribute to our development, while having an appearance in fiction. Want to have a guiding hand as these tales unfold? This is your chance.
As we prepare for future club-scale events, Tales of New Tython and the Sentinel Network will each feature the event’s statistics in the form of a graphic. This should give you a clear representation of what our event activity numbers are, and it will be a fun addition to our future reports.
As you all know, some changes in leadership have taken effect since A’lora came to office. Nathan will be taking over my duties as Rollmaster, and I will be taking over the Proconsul’s position. This change is simple micromanagement. While A’lora has the final say in all things concerning the Clan, we pretty much work as a team all the time so nothing drastic changes in the long-run. I’ve been working with A’lora on most major projects for the former House Summit, so it stands to reason I take this position. Nathan is, as you all know, the lord and master of recommendations and giving out awards and promotions. His position will handle that aspect of the Clan summit, and many many more explained below.
As A’lora announced earlier, the all new Tales of New Tython will debut with my report, on the 15th of March. You can expect two weeks of engaging competitions, epic story, and all around fun times with these events. They are primarily meant to replace standard competitions and create an interesting environment for all of you to develop, not only New Tython and its lore, but your stories as well and make a meaningful impact on Clan lore - to leave your imprint, so to speak. The Sentinel Network events - which will come out at a later date - will follow the same pattern, if a slightly different theme.
Not to make it all about fiction, puzzles, poetry and graphics, my hope is to have a more active gaming community for these events. I aim to co-ordinate with our top gamers, and the Fist staff, to make engaging gaming comps you can all dig into. All the events will be organized in co-operation with the House leaders to ensure everyone gets what they want and everyone has fun participating.
Stay tuned for more detailed news in my next report. Stay lightie my friends!
I don’t know about you, but I for one am very excited about what this team can do for the Clan moving forward. A’lora and Echo are taking a very innovative approach to content design and delivery, and I can assure you that Tales will be very worth your time.
As Rollmaster, I will be acting as a general support / all-rounder for each level of Summit, with a primary focus on coordinating awards and promotions for everyone. If any level of Summit - from the Consul to the Battleteam Leaders - needs assistance, I’m your man. I’ll be working on projects, working on some long-term fiction plans, and assisting with the fiction plans we already have on the way.
For now, however, I will be doubling up as a traditional Rollmaster while the Quaestors and Aediles get their feet settled, but as we develop our Clan and Houses, the responsibilities for managing all members (including Journeymen) will be a focus for the Quaestor and Aedile teams. This not only splits the traditional RM workload in half (two Houses), but also puts four people on the job instead of just one. As we prepare for the influx of new joins from Star Wars Celebration, May the Fourth and even Episode 7, this increased capacity to handle new joins will be crucial in our sustained growth.
I’ll be releasing my first Rollmaster report on the 25th of each month, but in the mean time, we have had a long string of awards organized since the end of the Eleventh Great Jedi War. I must admit that nothing makes me prouder than organizing these, and a full recap of our awards follows:
Raiju Kang to Equite 3!
Lu’aisha Gresee to Equite 1!
Sa Ool to Equite 1!

These changes rolling forward will lay the foundations from which this Clan will expand upon. I’m excited to see the arrival and release of our latest events and waiting to see what you guys can contribute to the Clan. Over the next few years, we should all expect to see a substantial increase in our presence in the Brotherhood that surpasses our time as a House.
As always, your Summit can be contacted via email at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] or contacted on IRC. Stay classy, New Tython. As always: May the Force be with You.
Much love to Echo-1 for the graphics.
