Our progress through the first month of being Clan Odan-Urr has already seen growth and improvement from where we once stood. Transitioning into the new structure originally seemed to be a daunting task, and one that might have seen flaws when we gained our two Houses, Satele and Hoth. Together, we have all contributed towards making this a smooth experience from the start. Within the first weeks of change, we have seen the beginnings of a new chapter in Odan-Urr’s history and glimpses into the future. Please move forward knowing that regardless of rank or position, it is your contributions and participation that matters above the leadership. Without our members, we would be a shell of structure with nothing to fill it. Our Summit owes their dedicated leadership towards the members that make Odan-Urr a strong presence in the Brotherhood.
Our motto represents what we are - a light amidst the darkness. While we might have started as an April Fool’s joke made real when it was first given life over four years ago as little more than a concept, we have established ourselves as a prominent and permanent part of this club. Beginning as the faintest flicker of inspiration, we have grown to become a light capable of drowning out the darkness. The Houses themselves have also chosen their own mottos to represent what they have become, and what they will strive towards. House Satele Shan has pledged to be a shining beacon to the lost, while House Hoth seeks to remain vigilant in keeping peace. Both of these are admirable qualities, and qualities that should be upheld by their members.
Famous archaeologist and adventurer Jeryn Yorcot announced today that he has uncovered a heretofore undiscovered temple on the small Outer Rim planet of New Tython. The temple, believed to be Harakoan in origin, was found on the planet’s smallest continent Sanulu. The Harakoans, New Tython’s native peoples, are a tribal society whose lifestyle has changed little in the last several thousand years despite the recent influx of new colonists to the planet.

The overall winner of the first Chapter of the Tales of New tython is:
Torin Ardell
Lu’aisha Gresee came in close second, while Seridan Brehevik took third place. Congratulations to the winners.
Kicking off one of our long-running storylines, Tales of New Tython: Lost Civilization introduced us to evidence linking New Tython back to something that existed before the modern Harakoans. Those who finished the puzzle correctly would have been among the first to learn the name of the ancient civilization predating the current tribes of Harakoa - the Maia’toa. While it was a slow build towards the rise of a new plot, it sets the stage for some new and exciting tales to be told in the future. This will run parallel to the greatest of our story arcs to be released in the near future, given the title in development as the Grand Scheme™.
We would like to present to you the stats for Tales of New Tython: Lost Civilization:
As you have probably noticed in this graphic, events moving forward will have their statistics taken and placed into one of these images upon closing, when the entries have been graded. This should give our Clan an idea on where we stand with participation, and where we need to work together to improve. Remember that it’s your entries that matter, and could make the difference in affording much-needed additions to our armed forces in future Vendettas, as well as earning some recognition and awards along the way.
Activity awards are the building blocks of promotions, and something that we’re always monitoring. Even one submission will help to push our ratio towards being the best in the Brotherhood. If all of our members sent in one picture from paint, finished one puzzle or wrote a piece of literature for an event, we would have complete participation accounting for all of our members. Those who go the extra mile in participating in more events will get the recognition they deserve for giving us those increased numbers, and have the better chance of being awarded those battlefield promotions during Vendetta events. I want this Clan to succeed, and can’t do it without your valuable contributions.
Also, we received a number of rather humorous complaints about the puzzle event. We won’t have one of those again. As Edgar Drachen so eloquently put it:
By the power of grey skull I command you to create a better language. :)
Ji has been working with Solari to flesh out the lore of House Satele Shan’s founding. I must illustrate how excited I am to see the new developments as they unfold. In fact, progress is already underway for the Harakoan city and trading hub, Seher, that will stand as the focus of House Satele in future fictions. In fact, plans have been discussed for a possible competition series in the near future. Be sure to keep checking back for it!
Seher is a Harakoan city and trading hub, situated on the eastern coast of the continent Owyhyee, where the dense jungles begin to break into the Honunom Desert. It is the first true metropolis among Harakoans, having expanded substantially in size in the aftermath of the Dark Jedi incursion onto New Tython. Specializing in metallurgy and manufacturing, Seher exports huge quantities of bronze spear-points, metal jewelry, and pottery to distant Harakoan tribes, many of whom have become increasingly indebted to the fledgling polity.
Revak Kur has also started development on his own series, Hoth Legends. From a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the event’s fiction so far, I can promise that Hoth’s summit has planned out some fantastic ideas and a unique fiction direction that we haven’t seen before.

The Sentinel Network is a project I’ve started developing some time ago. It will be a similar format to the Tales of New Tython but will deal with Clan stories outside New Tython itself. The first event is already in planning and I will announce it very, very soon. Anyone and everyone who enjoys space combat, missions in enemy territory and intrigue of the highest order will find themselves in these events.
All I can leave you with is this:
Keep your eyes peeled!
All of these plots moving forwards have been crafted to propel Clan Odan-Urr into several new chapters through the coming years. Unlike our previous storytelling capabilities, we have planned to run several storylines running parallel to each other and complementing events within other plot lines. As we currently stand, it could take a decade for us to get through the drawing board of stories and events that are planned for release - and we aren’t done. I’m ecstatic to be working alongside such brilliant minds, and to see new ones rise through the ranks to pull us through these future events in the leaderboards. The Summit thanks Clan Odan-Urr for your participation in our first event in this new chapter, and hope to see more activity through the following years.
