Fading Light Runons Moving Along Nicely

It's in the opening blurb, and it's here again. Take heed of that fact. As you all know Fading Light is the next phase in the Dark Crusades, building toward the next Great Jedi War. Fading Light will consist of three mini-events, including an ACC Round (Protip: Qualify For the ACC!), and a more traditional fiction/gaming/etc round.

But that is all ahead of us. Right now we have 22 Members of Taldryan signed up and working their hearts out to get our runons completed. If you're one of those members, good luck, and keep kicking ass. If you're not? You can still help out by offering your support or ideas or whatever.

TalEx Commissioning Ceremony Results

Last night I spent a long time going over all the excellent submissions to the various competitions that were put forth in the Taldryan Expansion Force Commissioning Ceremony. Suffice it so say, I'm extremely happy with the amount of participation we had for the competitions, and I'm excited to present the new names of the various ships that are joining Taldryan's Order of Battle.

In addition to our ships, we added another regiment of Massassi warriors to Taldryan's ranks. We're going to adding a fictional background to this, but essentially with each new purchase of Massassi, we're going to be "adopting" a new tribe, whether we clone them or find them in stasis, or we use super special force magicks or whatever. So the name of the newest tribe we're adding, courtesy of Halc is... the Typhojem Tribe, who take their name from the Left Handed God, a god of the Kissai subspecies, and who was adopted by the Massassi as a deity.

News From The Wide World of Star Wars

So, this past week saw the culmination of a long wait to see the release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 6. The new season is available exclusively on Netflix. Season 6 has generated a lot of buzz both within the Brotherhood and on the Internet at Large, so be sure to check out what all the fuss is about.

In somewhat Star Wars related news, I found this amazing gallery of warior prints by artiest Timothy Anderson that contains some amazing Star Wars related pieces. Despite my bankbooks better judgement, I personally purchased the 3 pack of the re-envisioned Original Trilogy posters.

I don't care how much ramen I'm going to have to eat, those things are sexy.

Gaming News & Updates

We've got more news coming in this week from the gaming side of the Brotherhood, with an update from the Fist about how Diablo 3 CFs are going to be awarded. While the numbers have been reduced, I have been assured by our resident DiabloHeads that you can still grind out some awesome rewards. On a related note, you can currently buy Diablo 3 for Half price on Battle.net. I have no idea how long this promotion will last, but hey, jump on it while you can if you're interested.

Other gaming news this week was dominated by SWTOR, with the announcement of player housing and other general updates from the Dark Brotherhood Guild. Additionally it was announced that DJBtor.com would be shutting down as the super-seekret-organization-nobody-talks-about is repurposing funds elsewhere.

As a final note on the gaming front, make sure you take part in the Gate Keeper Trials when you get a chance, and congratulations to the following for their promotions in the GMRG.
