Jelc Rovint is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, Jelc Rovint is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, Jelc Rovint knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.

While Jelc Rovint will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Jelc Rovint's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Jelc Rovint's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Jelc Rovint, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Jelc Rovint is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Jelc Rovint will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Jelc Rovint in a bit of trouble.

Despite his line of work, Jelc Rovint still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Jelc Rovint only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Jelc Rovint takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Jelc Rovint tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Jelc Rovint? Jelc Rovint doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Jelc Rovint, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Jelc Rovint isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Jelc Rovint won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Jelc Rovint will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
