While he stands shorter than most galactic peoples, Tomora is quick to remind others that he's quite tall for a Bothan. Amidst a coat of dark brown fur, his pale, bony face and hazel eyes stand out easily, speaking with a slightly smoke-addled voice. His mid-length windswept mane, jaw-covering chinstrap beard, angular snout, and long ears lend him a pointy-headed silhouette from most angles. The most unusual feature, however, is the set of prosthetics covering most of his torso to support his fully mechanical arms.
Tomora Nay'ek somehow always finds himself in tricky situations that put him in over his head. As such, Tomora Nay'ek always seems to be digging himself out of some kind of dilemma. While this speaks to Tomora Nay'ek’s ability to think outside the box to find solutions, his moral code often gets in the way of taking the easy way out.
Tomora Nay'ek always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Tomora Nay'ek is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.
Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Tomora Nay'ek has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about his situation, or to taunt his enemies. While some find Tomora Nay'ek to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Tomora Nay'ek will get himself into more trouble than he thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.
Tomora Nay'ek is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Tomora Nay'ek to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Tomora Nay'ek can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Tomora Nay'ek? Tomora Nay'ek doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Tomora Nay'ek, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Tomora Nay'ek isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Tomora Nay'ek won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Tomora Nay'ek will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Tomora Nay'ek vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
