Physical Description:
Ruana Suoh-Werd'la is a young Pantoran woman of petite stature, bearing a lithe figure — average bust and a slight hourglass shape—and the well-defined musculature of a lifelong gymnast. One of Ruana’s most notable features is her long white and pale blue locks, which reach to just below her waist; usually held up in a thick, braided ponytail. She has the pale cerulean skin of her species, an oval-shaped face with a pert nose and thin lips. The other notable feature are her eyes, so dark a shade of blue that they almost appear to be entirely black.
Distinguishing Marks:
Though a Pantoran by birth, Ruana is lacking any of the distinct gold facial markings of her race. Her hair is another, being as white as snow, with a few highlights the exact same shade as her skin tone.
Ruana Suoh-Werd'la can be very protective, and when any of her friends are being bullied or threatened, she will step in to defend them. This can gets Ruana Suoh-Werd'la in trouble when she refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, her friends know that no matter what, Ruana Suoh-Werd'la will be there for them.
While Ruana Suoh-Werd'la will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward her best effort, it’s still just a job. Ruana Suoh-Werd'la's true loyalties lie to her friends, and through thick and thin, she will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Ruana Suoh-Werd'la's trust, putting her at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust her motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Ruana Suoh-Werd'la, though, because loyalty to her friends is not something credits can buy.
Ruana Suoh-Werd'la tells it like she sees it, when she thinks it; and she doesn't try to sugar coat what she says.
Ruana Suoh-Werd'la would much rather be behind a hand of good sabacc cards or a rare vintage of aged liquor than with her blasters or ship. More often than not, she will spend nights at high-end establishments gambling, drinking and "socializing". Ruana Suoh-Werd'la can survive without the finer things, but she sure would rather not. This preference follows her onto the job, so it is not uncommon for Ruana Suoh-Werd'la to insult a client or potential partner by commenting on their choice of beverage or recreation.
Ruana Suoh-Werd'la works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Ruana Suoh-Werd'la has learned to not take jabs about her stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for her inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Ruana Suoh-Werd'la's discipline of never overestimating her own abilities or those of her opponents. She has trained to fully utilize her size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. She knows exactly how to leverage her weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Ruana Suoh-Werd'la becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
Without the gift of the Force, Ruana Suoh-Werd'la has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Ruana Suoh-Werd'la has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes her lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
