Welcome to the sixth [DB Art Club] Sketch Something! theme!

THIS IS A TWO DAY EVENT

• General Information: Starting on Saturday, April 23rd at 12:00am (00:00) and ending Sunday, April 24th at 11:59pm (23:59) GMT, you are tasked with sketching something pertaining to the theme provided in the Subscriber details. You may use either traditional or digital means, as long as it is an obvious sketch and not a fully colored image. We’re looking for basics — meaning no post-editing through digital software or coloring with colored pencils, crayons, paint, etc.

• Location: The competition will be taking place in the [DB Art Club Telegram Channel - Log in to view join link]. Here you will present your entry for judgement by posting your image with the #SketchSomething hashtag.

• Additional Important Information: Any entries not presented in the channel by 11:59pm (23:59) GMT on Sunday the 24th will not be counted for placement. Any entries not sent in the DB Art Channel will not be counted for placement. Any entries without the #SketchSomething hashtag will not be counted. The Herald Staff will collect all entries after the allotted time has passed.

• How We Are Grading: The Herald and Praetor will decide the winner based on visual effort, technique, adherence to the theme and a level of artistic, personal preference. This entry will be considered for the parent comp positions at the end of the six month running period. Make sure you do better than you did in the previous comp. If you have not participated in the previous comp, this entry will be taken as a benchmark for all entries in future “Sketch Something!” comps.

Remember! The idea is to see your artistic growth through these competitions per Rule #1 of the DB Art Club: Draw. Practice. Get better. Give it your best effort!
