• Objective: We all know Rule #1. “Draw. Practice. Get Better.” Well now you can be awarded for your hard work and effort! Starting on February 1st and continuing for six months, you will have the chance to not only better yourselves, but “compete” against your fellow artists to see who has progressed the most!

• How to Submit: Two times per month, the [DB Art Club on Telegram - Log in to view join link] will receive a specially made sticker stating the start of the drawing segment followed by a topic and time limit. By the end of that time limit, all sketches related to the topic should be presented. We are only looking for sketches, not fully colored or “complete” works of art. Keeping it simple.

• How we are Grading: The Herald and Praetor will then decide the winner based on visual effort, technique, artist progress compared to previous entries, and personal preference. The entries will be compared to previous work done by the artist.

• Important Additional Information: Entries must be sketches, and drawn either with pencil, pen, tablet or other form of digital and traditional drawing.

Useful Tools:

• GIMP - a freeware used for digital graphics work, similar to Photoshop.

• Pencil and Paper - an ancient greek technique of drawing chalk on board...but, you know, modern.
