Background: Darth Fallax and his Order of the New Dawn have taken complete control of the Cocytus Empire. This centuries-old order has worked ceaselessly for years to claim the Empire for their own purposes. Darth Fallax, possessing the body of Consul Xen’Mordin, has left the members of Scholae Palatinae for dead on the distant planet Aesirus.

But now the capable Palatinaeans have found their way back to the Cocytus Empire and are now preparing wage war against the New Dawn. With no military or resources to back them, the members of Scholae Palatinae are all that stand between the reign of Darth Fallax and the galaxy.

Midnight is the second act of the Clan Scholae Palatinae Order Campaign. This event will span four weeks and feature multiple competition types, with several sets of start dates.

Scoring: Each competition will award points for participation, and for placing in the top 10. Competitions will be weighted in points according to the level of difficulty/skill required for them. These points will be totaled, with the top point earners receiving crescents in this parent competition. Winning submissions will also be worked into the closing fiction, and part of the official lore of the event, per the discretion of the competition runner.

Each competition participated in will award 5 points. Additional points will be awarded for the top 10 submissions of each competition. These are:

• 1st - 10 points
• 2nd - 9 points
• 3rd - 8 points
• 4th - 7 points
• 5th - 6 points
• 6th - 5 points
• 7th - 4 points
• 8th - 3 points
• 9th - 2 points
• 10th - 1 point

Competitions will be categorized as Level 1, 2, or 3. Level 1 competitions will receive a x1 multiplier to participation and placement. Level 2 competitions will receive a x1.5 multiplier to participation and placement. Level 3 competitions will receive a x2 multiplier to participation and placement. In the event of a tie for points, it will go to the individual who participated in more competitions.
