House Excidium has struggled for months with limited resources; their vast stores eradicated when the Grand Master, Darth Pravus, glassed the planet of Judecca in the Cocytus System. Forced into close proximity with Clan Scholae Palatinae and House Imperium, they have survived on the scraps provided. Meager rations, limited weapons, virtually no voice in the military decision-making. Until now.

With a small, diverse cast of members, the House now embarks on a journey towards a new identity. Gone are the days of the deadpool and subversive maneuvers against the Emperor, Xen’Mordin Palpatine. Trading out their existing fleet for faster ships with flexible roles known for their prowess in piracy the House prepares for its first boarding action. A VT-49 Decimator Veritas sits at the edge of a hyperspace lane scouting potential targets. The remainder of the House Fleet waits the signal to jump into the lane and begin the subjugation and boarding of their target. A task they have never attempted before as a group.

Objective: Write a fiction that details the failure of House Excidium in this mission. Do we have too many competing personalities? Were we overwhelmed by a superior force? Does another pirate group force us off the target? Be creative. No limits!
