The Collective has a robust and effective program designed to train zealots to operate in their ranks, and a wide range of tools and possessions are used in their training.

Objective: Create a name and item description for three different unique possessions that might be found in the barracks where the zealots are housed at a Collective facility that are specifically related to the unique training they are receiving.

Grading: 20% for completeness, 20% for spelling, format & grammar, 20% for fitting within the DJB/Star Wars universe, 20% for fitting with the Collective and 20% for grader preference in how well it creatively fits with the possessions system of the DJB and the zealot theme.

Submissions: Any format that can be read and understood by the grader where it’s clear what the name and description are for all the items. Pdf is preferred. If I can’t open it or understand the format, I’ll mark it invalid.

Basic idea was that there'd be utility food dispensers in the vast training barracks. Probably of very low quality considering the general equipment level of the zealots.
The instrument was mostly because the individuals would have some leisure time and it's quite likely some would have acquired or brought with them some instruments in order to entertain each other or themselves. Also good for playing propaganda songs!
The final entry was in the spirit of SW and merchandising, with a hint of Orwellian design.

The Liberation Front Possessions
(Long Event)

Battlelord Ric "Tater" Hunter (Sith) / House Ektrosis of Clan Taldryan

Veritas Enchiridion - (Book of Truths) Zealot manual that is their guide book. Part prayer book, part instruction manual, the Veritas Enchiridion fulfills an important purpose in the training of the zealots. The book is packed with inspirational quotes, some even from Emperor Palpatine from the early days of the Empire and the Great Jedi Purge. It also contains detailed training on how to combat Force Users and their allies as well as conventional combat techniques. If captured, this resource would be a great insight into the enemy mind.

Impfrang – (Force Breaker Medallion) Part medallion, part cybernetic implant, the Impfrang is given to all Zealots at the start of their training. When not active, the Impfrang hangs from a metallic necklace around a zealots neck looking like a typical piece of jewelery. However when it is active, it connects to the zealots cybernetic devices and increases performance as well as mental awareness and acuity to help predict and defeat Force Users. Once activated, spiderlike legs extend from the back of the medallion and engage the cybernetic ports of the zealot. The main processor located inside the center of the medallion acts as a secondary processor speeding up the reaction time as well as increasing strength and combat awareness of the wearer. It has been discovered that each of these Impfrang medallions are bio coded to each wearer as they cannot be activated without them.

Peregrinus Dagger – (Crusade Dagger) This ceremonial dagger is given to all zealots at the beginning of their training. Not only does it signify the start of their journey to becoming a soldier to their cause, it is also a relatively inexpensive way to train soldiers on how to fight blade weilders. Once the training is completed, The Peregrinus is usually reserved for formal occasions. However Zealots usually wear them in battle to use as a weapon of last resort. The dagger signifies their deep belief that Rath Oligard is right and they will use any means to accomplish the tasks he sets forth for them. Also as a last resort they will use these daggers to avoid being captured alive. On several occasions, when zealots were cornered, they commited suicide rather than be captured and tortured for information. While it has a traditional blade, the Peregrinus also has a secondary feature built in to it. It can act as a holdout blaster with a charge of only six shots.

I, Robot:
The Collective trains its zealots through many implicit means, one of which is through a harmless video game called I, Robot. This holo-enabled handheld device has a game with a singular purpose, to hunt down a Force User and destroy them. This RPG-style play requires that each recruit literally become one being, both in mental and physical appearance. All group exercises in-game punish those who don't follow the group. By end-game, if the whole regiment has complied the Force User is eradicated and they win the game. In this fashion, a harmless game controller with a holodisplay becomes an important means for group cohesion.

Pain, MD:
Not all zealots start out as natural-born killers. Some need instruction in the fine art of torturing others, provided by a small handheld circular device that can be strapped to the palm of one's hand. There is only one in any regiment's quarters and zealot recruits are encouraged to use it to bully others, particularly those who refuse to use the device itself. This device injects small amounts of neurotoxin into the bloodstream, causing body-wide spikes of pain. It is non-lethal unless used repeatedly within the span of an hour, causing the neurotoxins to concentrate to deadly levels. The only way the weak can survive is to inflict pain.

Voodoo Slaver:
Zealot recruits often come with a lot of baggage, a past they deal with through proxy devices such as handmade voodoo dolls. These simple artifacts are often made of excess fabric and cloth and are often passed around the barracks, the group collectively getting their revenge on slavers they can no longer touch. Sometimes the dolls come with pins or cutting implements, adding options for the zealot to explore while brooding. This group therapy mechanism both reinforces revenge as a coping mechanism and creates lifelong group bonds built on mutual violence. It's amazing the damage a silly little doll can do.

Zealot's Electro-chain Flail

The Zealot's Electro-chain Flail is a derivative of the Bilari Electro-chain whip and appears to be a conventional two-handed mace in its resting state (Blunt Weapons). When activated, however, the weapon shifts into an articulated configuration that allows the metallic plating to bend and wrap like an electro-whip, with the addition of a metallic ball at the end of its length (Miscellaneous Weapons). While shielded from electrical surges, the hilt and ball of the flail is made of standard durralloy and is not resistant to a lightsaber's edge.

Zealot's Brain Implant

The Zealot's Brain Implant is a cybernetic device which can be grafted onto one's head and interfaces with the user's brain. It is designed as a measure to increase compliance in its user, preventing autonomous actions that could either damage the implant or go against commands given to its user from individuals with specified codes. It is impossible to remove without the appropriate tools, but can be temporarily disabled if exposed to high electrical currents.

Zealot's Thermal Explosive Device

The Zealot's Thermal Explosive Device is derivative of the design of thermal detonators; however, this device has had its fuse shortened to a mere second, resulting in near-immediate detonation if triggered. The blast is enough to deal significant damage to targets within a few meters, in addition to the user. Given that the blast is designed to be inescapable for its user, the explode device requires no prior knowledge of (Explosives) to use.

Focus Collar

This neck collar is a dull grey color, with a front closure and control box. The inside of the collar has a number of diodes that connect with the wearer's skin. The device, when activated, administers low to medium voltage shocks at random intervals or in response to stress signals. The intent of this device is to train Liberation Front Zealots to overcome distractions and pain and focus on their tasks.

Sim-Helm

This head-worn device resembles a pilot's helmet with the blast shield down across the face. Thick cables run down the back of the head to a datapad with a connection for interfacing with the computer of a starship. The interior of the helmet has a holo-display and micro-speakers, creating the audio and visuals of flying a mission. This device allows pilots to train while in the cockpit, but not burning fuel or running the risk of damaging the Collective ships.

Zealot Brand

This heavy metal ingot has a long and slender handle. The broad end has the distinct three-pillars of the Collective logo in reverse. Depressing a button on the handle engages a fuel cell in the ingot, causing the icon to quickly raise temperature. Used to brand Liberation Front Zealots in their training, to receive the mark is a matter of high esteem in the organization.

Harness of Absolution:
The Harness of Absolution takes its name from ancient suits of armour found throughout the races of the Collective. The Harness is made from a form of hard, leather like, substance that is reinforced to protect itself from impacts and moderate kinetic damage; it gives the wearer a basic level of protection yet permitting the wearer to move freely. This material is also layered with an energy dampening mesh, while this does not protect fully from blasters, it allows it o absorb some of the energy, making the shot less lethal.

The Harness is comprised of three main components:
Boots: Half leg combat boots that come up to the knee, the fronts are reinforced to give protection to the legs.

Tassets: These protect the wearer's pelvic regions and upper legs. The tassets comprise of a triple layer system of strands that overlap each other, providing cover but not impeding movement.

Chest Brace: The torso armour protects only the core of the body, featuring laminated plates layered like scales, the Brace covers the wearers chest and shoulders.

Mauls of Subjugation:
These are power mauls, and a popular weapon within the training arenas. Designed to be wielding in pairs, these weapons are light and easy to swing and manoeuvre with. Their damage comes from the field generator built within the hammer head, upon impact the head releases a crushing wave of energy, multiplying the force that it hits with and stunning/killing the opponent. During the training sessions, the Mauls are reduced to a lower power setting.

The Bracers of the Masters:
Worn on both wrists, the Bracers of the Masters are a reminder of the Zealots past as a slave, and their freedom from their masters. Each Bracer is made from the same hardened leather like material as the Harness and is designed to protect the user from close quarter blows. The bracers also function as offensive weapons, each featuring retractable blades and mounting hardpoints for energy weapons or munitions/projectile launchers.

**Ball-sy Ballcap**
Due to the fact that many zealots have to train in rugged territories and are *forced* to be bald, these poor sods have been equipped with a Ball-sy Ballcap! Complete with the Collective logo and a laser beam that will shoot at any Force Users in sight! This laser beam can also be turned onto "stealth mode" in which it can be used to entertain space kitties.

**Suns-glasses**
There are many suns in this universe, and this pair of suns-glasses will protect you from the ultraviolet rays that any of these suns produce! Depending on its owner, they can be an array of colors including 8-bit black, and 8-bit charcoal.

**Student's Satchel**
That's right. It's exactly as it sounds. Each satchel is also complete with a leatherette section for Magic the Gathering cards!
