This is my rudimentary work of how I see our war through the cockpit of one of the fighters. This is a Tie Fighter Cockpit view I found on the internet from the original tie fighter game I believe. As well as the closest space battle I could find that resembles the The shipyards. I then took the two photos and overlaid one on top of the other and created a clipping mask to remove the cockpit windows allowing the space battle to be seen as it would be from the cockpit. Just a little bit of detail clipping and a couple of clipping masks, some smudging blending and this is the final shot I came up with.
