Summary

Welcome! We have just finished a lengthy and tiring war. To help you ease back into some sort of normalcy, here is a simple and quick 4-week series of Sporcle competitions. Enjoy!

Timeline

This will take place over the course of the next 4 weeks (1 weeks per event).

Scoring

Each participant will earn points for their placement in the sub-events:

If there are ties in any crescent-earning spot, they will be broken in the following order:

• Most 1st place finishes
• Most 2nd place finishes
• Most 3rd place finishes
• Cumulative lowest time across all sub-competitions (NOT the site time, only the on-screen event time)
• Cumulative lowest site time across all sub-competitions

If, by some cosmic miracle, they are still tied, then they will share the position. They will also be told to attend their nearest shop to buy a lottery ticket because that is ridiculous.

If at least three members are tied for a placement spot, after each tie-break, the highest ranked members of the tied group will remain with anyone outside of placement spots dropped. The next tie-break will then be applied.

For clarity: 4 members tied at 20 points, but members A, B, C all have one 1st place to their name while D has none - D will be dropped and the next tie-breaks will be applied in the same manner to A, B, C until all placements have been determined.

Rewards

At the end of the 4 weeks, you earn yourself additional crescents based on your overall participation and performance across the 4 sub-competitions.
