Clash On Zsoldos is a Clan-wide Run On event. This competition will take place on the Brotherhood’s Discourse platform.
Members of each clan will be able to choose between two different run-ons, or objectives, to participate in. The overarching goal is for your Clan to attempt to complete both objectives as per the AFoC storyline.
The Run-Ons will be opened on Wednesday, February 12th, after all members have selected the objective they wish to write about. More information on the objectives is available below.
Each clan run-on will have a first starting post that states the primary objective of the team and contains snapshots of participating members. Snapshots can be added as members post. We will not be policing when snapshots are added but ask they be added when members have time to do so at regular intervals. Members may also add a Links section to the first post, below Snapshots, that contain links they think would be useful for members while writing their posts. This first post should not contain anything other than this, as this first post is exclusively for administrative use. Please consult your team for the Discourse link to your run-on.
In order to keep this event fair and fun, we have written a set of rules unique to this event. These rules are specifically designed to allow units flexibility. Because of this, units/members are expressly forbidden from asking members not to write.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Assault and capture the Roark-Cole-Tresor Research Station on Zsoldos, and obtain any and all useful data and artifacts.
SITUATION: The Dread Lord of Plagueis has ordered your strike team to work with the Ascendant Legion’s Armored Regimental Combat Team Delta in order to infiltrate and take over the Roark-Cole-Tresor Research Station on Zsoldos during the Plagueian strike on the planet. This station, allegedly, contains valuable research on Mandalorian alchemy and other facets of Vizsla. The station is heavily guarded by anti-aircraft artillery, Vizsla mercenaries, AT-AT’s, AT-M6’s, and other conscripted forces. Not only that, but Vizsla is well-equipped with spec ops forces, including snipers and slicers, who may attempt to disrupt your team’s ability to enter the facility and pull information from it. While these forces and infantry are not primarily equipped for siege, mobility is heavily emphasized.
The operation will be deemed successful if the station is captured intact and valuable research is collected.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Defend the Termagant from Vizsla squadrons and potential boarders, and eliminate Vizsla’s offensive against the Ascendant Fleet.
SITUATION: Declan Roark and Valhavoc Cole have ordered their most elite naval warriors to assault the Ascendant Fleet. An intercepted communique shows that they plan to board and take over the Termagant, one of Plagueis’s highly valued cruisers. Both the Avenger Squadron and Cyclone Squadrons will be responsible for warding off the initial strike from Vizsla’s special forces, while those aboard the Termagant will need to hold the line and prevent Vizsla from breaching the cruiser’s bridge. While Vizsla’s navy may only be two thirds the size of the Ascendant Fleet, it is heavily armed with spec ops and knows how to hit where it hurts.
All information on Vizsla’s naval forces can be found in their possessions tab on their clan roster.
The operation will be deemed successful if all invading Vizsla forces are destroyed, and the threat to the Termagant has been removed.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Prevent Plagueian forces from capturing Roark-Cole-Tresor Research Station on Zsoldos.
SITUATION: The Ascendant Legion’s Armored Regimental Combat Team Delta, along with a Plagueis strike team, is heading toward the Roark-Cole-Tresor Research Station in order to infiltrate it. Your team and forces are responsible for holding the line at the station and preventing the Ascendant Clan from taking control of it. Should infiltration be inevitable, there are emergency systems in place to protect the research data, but they may be easily hacked into.
The operation will be deemed successful if all invading Plagueis forces are destroyed or forced to withdraw, and the threat to the station has dissipated.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Assault the Ascendant Fleet and board the Termagant, bringing it under Vizsla’s control.
SITUATION: The Ascendant Fleet is large and mighty, but there are holes to be found. Declan Roark and Valhavoc Cole have ordered your team to attack and board the Termagant, a Strike-class medium cruiser that may prove useful to your clan. The Termagant boasts a crew of over 2,000, many of them being members of the Willing, Subjugates, Wraiths, or Ravagers. All of these soldiers are heavily trained in various forms of combat. It is also defended by two squadrons: Avenger Squadron and Cyclone Squadron. Of course, you will have other elements of the Fleet to deal with; information on it can be found on its wiki page and under the possessions tab on the Plagueis roster, specifically under “Ascendant Fleet”.
The operation will be deemed successful if the Termagant is successfully boarded and controlled by Clan Vizsla.
